LogRhythm's Axon revolutionises security updates with latest release

Tue, 2nd Apr 2024

LogRhythm, a provider of security intelligence, has announced its eighth consecutive quarterly product release, which upgrades the functionalities of its cloud-native SIEM platform, LogRhythm Axon. The new enhancements bring significant benefits to organisations struggling with manual strategies for sharing security updates and information.

Research has suggested that approximately 61% of companies persist in using labour-intensive methods of sharing security status updates. In response, LogRhythm has introduced refinements to LogRhythm Axon, which deliver a seamless dashboard and search import/export to community repositories to help connect the dots.

Moreover, LogRhythm Axon has been enhanced with key features aimed at streamlining auditing for compliance standards and enabling greater efficiency with security analytics mapped to MITRE ATT&CK use cases. This makes compliance auditing for standards such as PCI-DSS 4.0, HIPPA, CMMC, NIST 800-53 and ISO27001 significantly simpler and provides clear insights into ongoing investigations via advanced case management metrics. This range of continuous innovations allows security professionals to answer swiftly to emerging threats and enhance their threat detection, investigation, and response strategies.

Commenting on the new release, Chris O'Malley, CEO of LogRhythm, stated, "Our eighth consecutive quarterly release epitomises our relentless dedication to customer satisfaction and our tireless pursuit of innovation that matters in our quest to save the world from cyber threats... At LogRhythm, we understand our success is intricately tied to the success of our customers, and that commitment fuels our tireless pursuit of excellence in service and experience."

Key advancements in the Axon include the ability to import and export dashboards and searches for community sharing, simplified evidence generation for compliance audit standards and alert systems for better visibility in monitoring and detecting. Furthermore, significant enhancements in data management and operational efficiency were also introduced, such as refined accessibility to cases, streamlined processes and an expanded library of supported log sources and parsing.

Alex Bredikhin, CTO and co-founder at SOC Prime praised LogRhythm's dedication to empowering security teams with advanced analytics, stating, "Their continuous innovation reaffirms our partnership and the value it brings to the industry."

Moreover, Daniel S., Director of IT and Security Operations at a software company, testified to the value of LogRhythm's platform to their security operations. He highlighted the company's commitment to continuous innovation and dedication to customer satisfaction and cybersecurity excellence.
