Fri, 15th Mar 2024

Optic Security Group, a prominent player in the security industry, is bolstering its presence in Western Australia with the opening of a new office in Perth. Concurrently, the company has announced the promotion of Patrick Hill to the role of Operations Manager for the region.

Patrick Hill is an industry veteran with over a decade of experience and a portfolio that includes successful projects across various verticals such as education, healthcare, and data centres. His appointment as Operations Manager comes on the heels of his contribution to a US foreign security agency’s wireless network security project implemented in Western Australia. His expertise underlines the company's focus on delivering top-notch service to its customers in the West.

In his new role, Mr Hill will lead a team of three specialist technicians: Ean Wheeler, Matt Withnell, and Shaun Jones. The company is also actively recruiting to expand this team further. This move aligns with the company’s strategic plan to meet the rising demand from its high-calibre client base. Furthermore, Optic’s commitment to the Western Australian market is underlined by the presence of Key Account Manager Bindi Johnston and National Solutions Estimator Russel Walker, who complement the core team.

Optic Security Group’s operations in Perth are focused largely on key sectors like mining, resources, data centres, tertiary education, and immigration. The team's unwavering commitment to service excellence aligns seamlessly with the company's ambition of becoming an integral part of the business landscape in what is often referred to as the most remote city globally.

Patrick and his team report to Jobe Rout, the Regional Manager West (NT & WA). Echoing the successful operations of the Northern Territory, where Jobe has led Optic Security Group to establish a strong foothold, he expressed his confidence in the Perth team replicating this success. He articulated that the experienced team is strategically geared for sustained growth by focusing not just on securing large service and maintenance contracts but also on laying the groundwork for future solution integration projects. He confirmed the company's commitment and dedication towards the Western Australian market, with its new office at 70 Malaga Drive, Malaga officially open for business.

Optic Security Group's expansion into Western Australia, the new office location, and the promotion of Patrick Hill underline the company's commitment to providing top-quality security solutions. It further illustrates their ambition of becoming a trusted partner for businesses, large enterprises, and critical infrastructures in the region's future.

Operations Manager Patrick Hill and Darwin-based Regional Manager NT, WA Jobe Rout have already begun operations in the new Optic Security Group office located in Malaga, Perth, thereby marking the beginning of Optic's promising venture into the Western Australian market.
