Orro & Juniper introduce cloud NAC service in Australia

Tue, 27th Aug 2024

Orro, Australia's leading platform-enabled secure network and digital infrastructure provider, has announced the launch of its new service capability, Cloud Network Access Control (NAC). The service is provided in partnership with Juniper and aims to simplify user authentication experiences while integrating seamlessly with existing infrastructure.

This vendor-agnostic approach enables organisations to leverage their current investments in digital infrastructure while enjoying the benefits of cloud-based NAC. The solution is designed to streamline policy management through a unified dashboard, which includes access to Juniper AI products and the Orro One Touch Control AIOps platform.

Building on the next-generation wireless solution introduced earlier this year, the new Cloud NAC offering combines the strengths of Juniper AI and Orro to present an advanced NAC service. The key features focus on eliminating the complexities associated with traditional, on-premises infrastructure.

Daniel Greengarten, CEO of Orro, commented on the launch: "Despite being essential for securing network access, traditional NAC solutions rely on complex, on-premises infrastructure. What we've introduced with our Cloud NAC capability, removes the need for physical maintenance or storage, offering a single integrated solution that ensures our customers benefit from better security and a wrap-around service."

He added, "Understanding the challenges of securing a distributed workforce, we are delighted to offer cloud-based network access services to our customers with our long-term partner, Juniper."

Greg Yelas, Area Director AI Driven Enterprise AUNZ at Juniper, remarked on the partnership: "This opportunity represents another significant leap forward in our partnership with Orro. By integrating Mist AI with NAC, Juniper is further expanding the value of the AI-driven enterprise portfolio, while bringing much needed modernization to a key part of the network."

Yelas further stated, "Our collaboration with Orro underscores our mutual dedication of pushing the boundaries of technology to constantly meet the evolving needs of our customers."

Traditional NAC solutions typically required manual maintenance and on-premises storage. Orro Cloud NAC relocates all network access capabilities to the cloud, thereby simplifying and streamlining network operations. The service has already been deployed among existing education customers to handle tasks such as student enrolment and staff access.

Since its inception in 2021, Orro has been steadfast in its mission to deliver a new generation of secure network and digital infrastructure solutions tailored to the needs of individual clients. With operations spanning several high-growth technology areas and strong partnerships, Orro asserts that its technologies offer enhanced efficiency, performance, agility, and resilience to over 500 customers.
