Paessler to host PRTG software webinars in Australia & NZ

Fri, 31st May 2024

IT and Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring specialist Paessler has announced it will host a series of webinars targeting end users and resellers across Australia and New Zealand. These sessions aim to elevate the usage skills of Paessler’s PRTG (Paessler Router Traffic Grapher) software, offering practical insights and tips for optimal performance.

The webinars, scheduled to take place on 5 June and 12 June, will each be an hour long and are designed to provide deep dives into how users can enhance their PRTG deployment with extensions. The focus is on streamlining workflows and achieving business objectives through improved monitoring capabilities.

PRTG is network monitoring software developed by Paessler. It is designed to observe system conditions such as bandwidth usage and uptime. The software collects statistics from various hosts, including switches, routers, servers, and other connected devices and applications. Over 500,000 users in more than 190 countries use it, a testament to its global reach and effectiveness.

The first webinar is slated for Wednesday, 5 June, at 11 a.m. AEST will introduce PRTG extensions. Paessler’s Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand, Mathews Varughis, and Presales Manager Peggy Pang will be joined by HAT Distribution’s Josh Gammer, Regional Sales and Technical Lead. Together, they will demonstrate how extensions like SLA Reporter, Data Exporter, and Database Observer can enhance the monitoring experience.

Paessler’s initiatives come at a time when monitoring is becoming increasingly vital for optimising IT, OT, and IoT infrastructures. Effective monitoring can help businesses reduce energy consumption and emissions, aligning with Paessler’s broader mission of using technology to conserve resources. The company collaborates with renowned partners to tackle the evolving challenges in the field of monitoring, aiming for sustainable solutions.
