FYI, this story is more than a year old

Sian Whyte has been appointed Non-Executive Director, bringing extensive experience across the legal, startup and technology sectors to the role.

Admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia as a lawyer in 2012, she specialised in commercial, corporate and taxation law before moving to online social gaming at VGW in 2017, joining the company as its first in-house lawyer.

Whyte is one of the company's foundational employees and played a pivotal role in devising and implementing the Company's international structure and establishing its global presence.

From founding member of a now well established legal department, Sian expanded into diverse functions leading teams in compliance, people and culture, and as a member of the senior executive as Chief of Staff.

"The Board and I are delighted that Sian has agreed to join the Pentanet Board. Sian has strong leadership, strategy, legal and governance skills, and will bring valuable insights," Chairman David Buckingham says.

"When a board position opened, we commenced the search for a new non-executive director. Sian is the perfect addition to the team, bringing valuable skills and expertise to help guide the Company through its next stage of growth, innovation and expansion of Australia's digital future," Pentanet Founder and Managing Director Stephen Cornish.
