Ping Identity appoints A/NZ & Japan country manager
Ping Identity has selected a new country manager for the Australia, New Zealand and Japan regions.
Melbourne-based Ashley Diffey will be responsible for boosting sales, as well as customer support and services to drive demand in the region.
Diffey joined Ping Identity in 2018 as the company’s APAC channels and alliances manager – a role in which he was responsible for supporting and managing the channel partner ecosystem.
According to Ping Identity, Diffey’s appointment underscores the organisation’s strong internal culture and commitment to developing the strength of its team.
“Ashley Diffey combines his strong security and channel business background with a proven track record in driving enterprise-grade solutions to the industry,” comments Ping identity COO Kris Nagel.

Diffey has also worked with the likes of F5 Networks as director for A/NZ channel sales, and with Commvault as southern region channel sales manager.

Ping Identity works with a variety of partners across Australia, New Zealand and Japan, such as Versent, NTT, Baidam Solutions, Fronde, Unify Solutions and Dimension Data.
Local customers include public and private sector organisations across vertical markets, such as the Bank of New Zealand, Mortgage Choice and Griffith University.
Additionally, Australia is one of the organisation’s global IDaaS hubs, which hosts a 24x7 support centre where it has a complete team including Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 engineers.
Ping Identity recently launched an enterprise-focused private cloud identity solution. The solution comprises cloud identity and access management, configurable authentication and directory services, and other features.
