Publicis Sapient partners with Google Cloud on AI adoption

Digital business transformation company Publicis Sapient has announced a global partnership with Google Cloud aimed at accelerating the adoption of generative AI among enterprise customers.

The collaboration will involve the creation of a dedicated Google Business Unit by Publicis Sapient to meet increasing demand for Google's AI technology. This unit will provide necessary resources to assist customers in planning, deploying, and managing generative AI projects.

Publicis Sapient intends to leverage Google's technology alongside its industry expertise and SPEED capabilities, which encompass Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering, and Data and AI. These efforts aim to deliver efficiencies and promote growth across a variety of sectors including banking, financial services, insurance, consumer products, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, media and technology, transportation and mobility, as well as travel and hospitality.

The partnership will focus on several key areas. Publicis Sapient and Google Cloud will align their sales, marketing, and engineering teams to enhance their joint go-to-market strategy, ensuring that customers have access to essential resources for AI project deployment and management.

New generative AI solutions will be created for marketing and sales, utilising proprietary AI tools and Gemini models to help businesses improve how they market, sell, and modernise products and services.

The partnership will also invest in generative AI talent development through the Google Cloud Center of Excellence, which will be staffed by Publicis Sapient experts trained in the latest AI technologies to ensure that clients benefit from optimally utilised AI products and services.

Publicis Sapient and Google Cloud are already engaged in projects with enterprise clients. They are collaborating with a large bank to modernise its infrastructure and enhance its software development lifecycle, with the goal of improving efficiency by up to 40%. This includes the design and integration of a generative AI framework tailored to the bank's risk and compliance requirements.

Through this partnership, Publicis Sapient's business offerings will be bolstered, particularly in fields like legacy and application modernisation, generative AI, data analytics, cloud migration, and database/infrastructure modernisation. The partnership is also expected to elevate AI applications in marketing, employing tools such as Retail Media Networks, Customer Data Platforms, Content Supply Chains, and Data Modernisation and Monetisation.
