Raider Targetry appoints New Chief Commercial Officer as Demand Grows
Mon, 28th Aug 2023

Australian technology company raider targetry has announced the appointment of experienced senior executive Paul Fisher as Chief Commercial Officer, as the demand for their realistic training and testing solutions continues to grow.

Mr. Fisher brings over 30 years of international senior management experience, including serving in the UK Defence Force and most recently as CEO of Regional Development Australia Sunshine Coast, where he advocated for and promoted entrepreneurial businesses in the greater Sunshine Coast.

"I am delighted to be joining the team at Raider at a time of significant demand and growth both domestically and internationally," said Mr. Fisher. "I am joining a team of incredibly talented and dedicated Australian engineers who design, build, and operate systems that enhance the skills and capabilities of our soldiers in the most realistic training environments."

Raider Targetry's flagship product, the RAIDER Mobile Moving Target System (MMTS), is a day/night combined arms moving target system designed and manufactured in Australia. Capable of moving at speeds approaching 40 km/h (25mph), the self-propelled electric system adds variable dynamic elements to any live fire or live simulation training. The modular target mount allows the unit to mimic the appearance of various vehicles, including armored vehicles, trucks, and cars.

Mick Fielding, Co-Founder and CEO of Raider Targetry, welcomed Mr. Fisher to the team and expressed excitement about the company's upcoming domestic and international growth. "Paul will be instrumental in working with new and existing clients as well as stakeholders so they understand the application of the system and the versatility it offers in a wide range of training scenarios. His extensive background in government relations, international commercial operations, defense, and senior management were exactly what we were looking for in our CCO, and we are delighted that he has joined us as we embark on the next chapter," Mr. Fielding said.

RAIDER makes possible moving-target training of all natures and can be engaged by all weapons platforms, including aircraft, ground vehicles, and high-explosive and guided missile varieties.
