Wed, 7th Aug 2024

Restive, a technology consultancy based in Melbourne, has expanded its research and experience design division through a senior leadership appointment and the introduction of a new skillset and engagement model for clients. Florencia Mostaccio has been promoted to the newly-created role of Head of Research and Experience Design. She will now take charge of enhancing the company's dedicated research and experience offering.

Florencia Mostaccio will report directly to Restive's Managing Director, Stuart Oliver, and will also join the consultancy's leadership team. Oliver underscored the significance of this development by stating, "The combination of Florencia’s appointment to lead our research and experience design division and the launch of our industry-first skillset and engagement models is proof of our commitment to the impact we can create for our clients. We’ve already enabled our clients to improve digital experiences for millions of customers and deliver extraordinary results to their bottom line."

The new skillset and engagement model put forward by Restive incorporates innovative approaches that have already shown success among its clients. These methodologies have enabled substantial revenue growth and increased customer satisfaction for some of Australia's largest brands. Oliver emphasised the importance of Mostaccio's leadership in this area, commenting, "Florencia is the ideal consultant to lead our expanded research and design capability. She has already led significant projects with clients in this capacity and delivered amazing results for them."

Restive, founded in 2018, has witnessed significant growth, expanding by 170% year-on-year. The consultancy now boasts a workforce of over 400 tech experts spread across Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia. This newly bolstered research and experience design offering will complement Restive's existing capabilities, which include data and AI, cybersecurity, digital strategy, and tech modernisation and cloud services.

Florencia Mostaccio expressed her excitement about her new role and the opportunities it brings. "It’s an exciting time to be with Restive. We have already made an enormous impact on millions of consumers by shaping products and services for Australia’s leading brands, and this is an opportunity for us to deliver even more value for existing and new clients," she said. Mostaccio also highlighted the unique aspects of the new skillset model: "Our new skillset model is unique to Restive and it will allow us to put forward to clients the best end-to-end researchers and designers in Australia and beyond."

Mostaccio joined Restive in 2019, bringing over a decade of experience in design. Within her tenure at the consultancy, she has led numerous research and design projects for a diverse set of clients, ranging from startups to large corporate entities. Her portfolio includes notable names such as Coles Group, JB Hi-Fi, and Super Retail Group, as well as various nonprofits.

Her appointment is effective immediately, and she will be responsible for growing a team of research and experience designers across the Asia-Pacific region. Oliver stated, "Florencia will grow a team of research and experience designers across Asia Pacific, enabling us to support our clients to grow in an area that’s increasingly critical."

Restive's broader set of capabilities continues to serve clients in various sectors, including retail, finance, and automotive, offering services that range from advisory and end-to-end project delivery to team augmentation. The consultancy has completed more than 240 client projects to date.
