RingCentral launches Studio for virtual event enhancement

Today

RingCentral has announced the release of Studio, a professional production solution developed to enhance its RingCentral Events platform and improve the virtual event experience for attendees in Australia and New Zealand.

Adam Boreham, Australian Country Manager at RingCentral, commented on the challenge organisations face in engaging participants in online events. "Increasingly, organisations need to extend the reach of both their staff and customer events through online channels - but it's really difficult to keep your participants engaged and excited when everything is happening at their desk on a computer screen," he said. "With the launch of Studio, RingCentral Events gives organisations the power to create a far more immersive and personalised experience."

The incorporation of Studio allows event organisers to produce professional and branded live streams, leveraging AI-powered features within the same user interface. Included in this development is AI Clips, which aids marketers in creating automated highlights from recorded events, potentially saving time and resources.

Sopiko Heldebro, Senior Director of Global Marketing Campaigns at Optimizely, shared her favourable experience with the platform, stating, "We're getting so much value from RingCentral Events. We couldn't be happier with the platform's ability to host bigger and more complex online events, resulting in higher engagement from attendees and more qualified leads from virtual events than ever before."

Kristen Koenig, Regional Vice President & General Manager, Video & Events at RingCentral, highlighted the platform's continued evolution to meet customer needs, saying, "RingCentral Events is the go-to platform for any organisation looking to elevate their events to be more memorable, personalised, and engaging, and with the launch of Studio, we're taking the production element to a whole new level."

She further added, "We are thrilled to see the value our customers are deriving from our platform, and we're excited to keep rapidly innovating and launching new AI tools, like AI Clips, to better support businesses in simplifying and powering exceptional event experiences."

The new Studio capabilities are designed to transform the management of live streams and virtual events. They include an all-in-one speaker experience, real-time streams without delays, seamless event management with pre-uploaded content, private backstage chat, and the ability to move content and speakers on and off screen efficiently. Advanced branding options and audience engagement tools are also part of this suite, aiming to create impactful and cohesive events.

Roopam Jain, Vice President of Research, Information and Communications Technologies at Frost & Sullivan, commented on the pace of innovation within the industry, stating, "The pace of innovation in the webinars and virtual events market, from the rise in hybrid events to an explosion in AI capabilities, is rapidly accelerating. AI-driven content production and personalisation, attendee engagement, and insights are creating new value."

RingCentral introduced AI Clips to facilitate post-event management, enabling organisers to automatically generate short highlight reels from event recordings. These clips can be quickly edited and distributed across marketing channels, enhancing engagement and helping to maximise return on investment.

The Studio capabilities are available to RingCentral Events customers at no additional cost, contributing to continuous momentum and adoption by diverse sectors, including illustrious Fortunate 500 companies such as AWS, Trimble, MSNBC, Target, Adobe, Block, Lattice, and DHL, among others.
