Rippling & Loop join forces to enhance HR in Australia
Workforce management platform Rippling has announced a strategic partnership with HR solutions provider Loop Business Consulting, in a move designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Australia streamline HR, payroll and compliance.
The collaboration will see the two companies deliver integrated, enterprise-level HR capabilities to SMBs, many of which still manage these functions manually. Rippling's recent research revealed that nearly half (48%) of small businesses in Australia are still processing payroll manually, with two-fifths reporting payroll errors within the past two years. With wage theft now classified as a criminal offence, the risks associated with payroll mistakes—whether intentional or accidental—are becoming more serious.
The partnership aims to address these issues by combining Loop's expertise in HR strategy with Rippling's all-in-one platform that integrates HR, IT, and finance functions.
Matt Loop, Vice President and Head of Asia at Rippling, said: "We're thrilled to partner with Loop Business Consulting to help make HR effortless for Australian SMBs. By automating HR, payroll, and compliance, we provide growing businesses with clear, actionable solutions, and deliver scalable HR infrastructure that grows with them. This allows them to focus on what matters most: growth, innovation, and delivering value to their customers."
Loop Business Consulting will support Australian businesses by providing a suite of tailored HR services, including expert-led HR audits and strategy workshops. These services will help SMBs assess their existing HR systems, identify compliance risks, and develop a roadmap for more efficient workforce management.
In addition, Loop will assist in HR information system (HRIS) setup and onboarding, ensuring businesses are well-positioned to maximise the benefits of Rippling's platform. The collaboration will also offer live learning sessions and masterclasses, covering practical topics related to compliance, people management and HR technology.
Troy Cardoso-Vigors, CEO of Loop Business Consulting, commented: "We've worked with countless Australian SMBs that have struggled with fragmented HR systems, so we understand the pain points they face. By combining our expertise in HR strategy with Rippling's capabilities, we're able to provide a truly integrated solution that makes HR effortless. Our mission has always been to make the complex simple, and by bringing Rippling's technology into the mix, we're delivering a smarter and easier way to manage people, payroll, and compliance."
As part of the initiative, businesses will also gain access to an exclusive research report, compiling key insights into the top HR challenges faced by SMB owners. Topics such as talent retention and regulatory compliance will be explored, along with practical strategies to address them.
With the regulatory landscape around employment practices in Australia evolving rapidly, especially in areas such as payroll and wage compliance, the partnership is being positioned as a timely and necessary support system for SMBs looking to avoid penalties and improve operational efficiency.
By bringing together scalable technology and professional HR guidance, Rippling and Loop aim to eliminate common administrative hurdles for business owners and operators, enabling them to focus more directly on their core activities.
