Shure unveils ShureCloud for unified device management

Today

Shure has announced the launch of its new cloud-enabled centralised management platform, ShureCloud. The platform will enable unified control and management of Shure Microflex Ecosystem devices and IntelliMix Room DSP software licences from a single user interface. Future updates will introduce additional features such as self-registration and an expanded monitored device portfolio.

ShureCloud promises to offer intuitive workflows that are familiar to IT managers and AV integrators. It facilitates real-time remote management, allowing users to manage, monitor, update, and control devices and licences from any location. The platform is designed to provide flexibility for organisations of varying sizes, from small businesses to large-scale enterprises, government entities, and higher education institutions.

"ShureCloud is designed to facilitate streamlined management of your licences and AV systems in the same way that you manage other enterprise devices, using familiar IT workflows, standards, and processes," said Susy Liem, Associate Vice President of Global Product Management for Conferencing Products at Shure. "In today's fast-paced environment, data is a critical asset. ShureCloud will provide actionable, data-driven insights that enable organisations to make informed decisions, streamline operations, and enhance overall productivity."

The platform combines an efficient off-premises system to remotely monitor, update, and manage Shure hardware and software products across a broad range of applications and industries. One of ShureCloud's main advantages is its ability to manage all Shure devices from a single, user-friendly interface. The device monitoring feature allows for real-time status and performance checks to ensure optimal operation. Users can also push updates to ensure all devices are running on the latest firmware and receive instant alerts about any issues, allowing for quick resolutions and minimal downtime. The Shure Wireless Workbench Scan Library application is now accessible within ShureCloud as well.

The user interface of ShureCloud has been designed with simplicity and familiarity in mind, particularly for IT managers and AV integrators who are accustomed to various cloud platforms. The platform's dashboard view provides a comprehensive overview of all connected devices and quick access to detailed device information. Additionally, a user management application within the platform allows customers to invite, manage, and control internal access to specific parts of ShureCloud. Individual users can customise the site layout and tailor the interface to meet their specific needs, highlighting key metrics and controls.

ShureCloud incorporates a robust suite of security features that adhere to accepted standards such as GDPR, TLS 1.2 MQTT, and HTTPS. Data encryption ensures secure communication between devices. The platform is designed for consistent and dependable operation, with regular updates and continuous improvements from Shure to keep the system current and effective.

Future updates to ShureCloud will include more devices and features. Users will have access to historical data, allowing them to identify and analyse patterns, trends, and areas for improvement. In the meantime, the platform is available for registration on Shure's website.
