TeamViewer integrates remote tech into Sony BRAVIA displays

TeamViewer has announced the integration of its remote connectivity technology into Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays. This implementation aims to enhance the maintenance and incident response capabilities of these displays, particularly in business-critical environments such as restaurants, shopping malls, and airports. Clients of both TeamViewer and Sony are expected to benefit from improved efficiency and increased sustainability in their daily operations as a result of this collaboration.

The integration offers highly secure, unattended remote access to BRAVIA Professional Displays. This feature allows system integrators and service providers to deliver prompt support while minimising downtime and service costs. Developed in collaboration with Sony, the solution provides full display control in customer and professional modes, which is crucial for service providers. The remote access capability is deployed using a proprietary Sony application package and always-on functionality to ensure fast and reliable connections.
