Independent advertising agency, The Hallway, has announced the appointment of Kent Boswell as Creative Tech and Innovation Director. See as a significant hire, Boswell brings a breadth of expertise and talent to the role. His previous four years were spent as the National Director of Interactive at Traffik, the activation arm of the Clemenger Group.

Boswell's role at The Hallway is a newly created one, and he is expected to play a key role in shaping effective ideas that utilise cutting-edge technology to amplify the entire brand experience. His unique perspective as a creative technologist, an innovator, and his passion for high-level creativity, place him in an advantageous position to lead the agency's tech innovation drive.

Before his stint with Traffik, he occupied top roles at organizations like Nakatomi (Finch) and Resolution Design, where he was Executive Producer. His career took off in the late 90s at global advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi, and he has since accumulated a significant amount of global experience from working at companies such as The Jim Henson Company (London), Curiious, and Fuel VFX.

Boswell boasts a number of career highlights, including his contribution to the highly acclaimed 'Project Revoice', which achieved recognition at the Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Good and the exclusive D&AD Black Pencil for Creative Use of Technology. Beyond his work at advertising agencies, he has served on various international award juries, including Cannes Lions, London International Awards, Effies, New York Festivals, and Spikes Asia as Jury President.

Jules Hall, the CEO of The Hallway lauded Boswell's capabilities saying, "It's rare to find someone with a deep understanding of technology, brands, and creativity. Kent is that person. He's uniquely qualified to assist in the creation of Affective Ideas for today's digital world, adding significant strength to our growing team."

With evident enthusiasm for his new role, Boswell says, "The possibilities within the realms of Digital, Tech and Innovation have never been more exciting. I'm thrilled to be a part of this highly talented team, contributing to the agency's momentum, and expanding our current production capabilities, all in the pursuit of delivering exceptional work for our diverse portfolio of clients."

The Hallway, widely recognised as Australia's longest-running independent advertising agency, has been instrumental in the creation and growth of iconic brands like BINGE, Suncorp Bank, NOVA FM, GWM, and Dexus. This new appointment is expected to further boost the agency's innovative strides and its contributions to the sector.
