Thryv has introduced AI Review Response, a tool designed to help small businesses manage online reviews across various platforms efficiently.
AI Review Response offers small businesses a streamlined way to handle feedback on Google Business Profile, Trustpilot, and 20 other review sites through a unified platform.
Elise Balsillie, Head of Thryv Australia and New Zealand, highlighted the importance of customer feedback for small businesses. "Customer reviews are pivotal in shaping consumer purchase decisions. Balsillie went on to explain how the tool supports businesses, adding, "Thryv AI Review Response supports these businesses in maintaining strong online engagement with minimal resources, helping build both loyalty and trust."
The software aggregates reviews from over 24 major review sites into a single view, simplifying the process for users.
When feedback is received, the AI generates three suggested responses, which users can select from or request further options. These responses can be modified to align with the business's brand voice before being posted.
Research by Yext indicates that 69% of customers expect a response to their reviews within a week, suggesting that timely engagement can benefit businesses.
Online reviews significantly influence consumer behaviour, with 95% of people reading them before purchasing and 58% willing to pay more for products from brands with positive reviews. The importance of responsiveness is further underlined by a Trustpilot survey, which found that 64% of consumers prefer responsive companies even over those with perfect ratings.
The AI Review Response tool is part of Thryv's expanding suite of AI-powered solutions, which also include a Social Media Management Tool and a Pro Campaign Editor equipped with an AI assistant for creating email campaign content.
