Titomic appoints Neil Matthews as Head of business development

Neil Matthews has joined the company as head of business development - repairs, and Bruce Colter has joined as general manager for Titomic's US branch. Both will commence employment on May 2.

Before joining Titomic, Matthews was RUAG head of research and technology and the technical lead for Additive Metal Technologies based in Melbourne.

During his 18 years in this industry, he has written journal papers and books, contributed to books, and is a recognised pioneer and industry leader.

Furthermore, in 2021, Matthews was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his outstanding efforts for significant service to aerospace component repair technologies.

Colter will be based in Michigan, USA, where he will be running the North American business, focussing on growing the business in that region.

He has 25 years of experience in the Digital Manufacturing Sector, including Cold Spray Manufacturing. Bruce is a proven business leader, having commercialised, grown and rebuilt numerous 3D printing and Advanced Manufacturing businesses, most recently Spee3D America.

"Having two giants of the Cold Spray Industry join Titomic is a clear recognition of the opportunities and exciting future that we have ahead of us," Titomic managing director Herbert Koeck says.

"They will assist us in continuing to scale the business in these key markets and segments and we are thrilled to have them on board."
