Unisys reveals key tech trends shaping future enterprises

Unisys has released a report titled "Top IT Insights for 2025: Navigating the Future of Technology and Business," outlining eight significant trends shaping the future of enterprise technology.

The report provides an analysis based on discussions with industry leaders. It explores opportunities in areas such as AI-powered interfaces, quantum-safe security, cloud-edge computing, and hybrid work models.

Another trend emphasises a "Shift to Smaller AI Models and Edge Computing," highlighting that these models, especially when combined with edge computing, can outperform larger models by processing data closer to its source, thereby improving security and reducing latency.

"Strategic Hybrid Cloud Use Grows" discusses how rising cloud costs are prompting organisations to revisit hybrid cloud strategies, evaluating the balance between on-premises and cloud workloads to optimise resources and ensure compliance.
