WaveMaker upgrades platform for advanced API & code management
WaveMaker, a development system designed for the acceleration of enterprise-grade software, has announced a significant update to its platform. This comes in response to a growing consumer requirement for more sophisticated API and code management tools. The updated WaveMaker has been optimised for the latest Angular technology platform.
The enhanced platform is part of a broader shift within WaveMaker towards integrating AI seamlessly into the software development lifecycle. By enabling developers to not only expedite but also considerably improve the quality of their written enterprise software, the company is keeping its low-code AI architecture relevant to an expanding base of independent software vendors and enterprise customers.
Furthermore, the latest version of WaveMaker streamlines studio workflows and boosts productivity and efficiency. Key features include an improved version control with a renovated OpenAPI workspace for viewing and testing all APIs from a singular window. It also offers an intelligent code editor that utilises the Monaco framework and a Smart API Imports tool for uncomplicated reintegration of API versions. The tool is capable of automatically recognising and adjusting to modifications, validating bindings, and alerting developers when an action is required. Additional features include AutoCode, which generates page markup, styles, and themes from Figma designs, Smart Templates for simplifying template selection, and Intelligent Mapping system for efficient development of applications.
Deepak Anupalli, Co-founder and CTO at WaveMaker, said, "The incorporation of the latest Angular framework and other sophisticated features highlight our commitment to enhancing the developers' experience and performance. We blend innovative technology with expert execution and comprehensive domain knowledge to provide a top-quality, scalable software development environment."
Now in Version 11.6, WaveMaker's customer applications will be automatically migrated to the latest format, bypassing the usual burden of migration and refactoring that takes place during vendor product updates. Benfitting from its transparent component architecture, open standards, and features such as auto-migration and zero devops, WaveMaker is becoming a top choice for modernising enterprise applications.
