Tue, 12th Nov 2024

Wild Tech has appointed Matthew Rodgers as its new Head of Microsoft APAC.

Matthew Rodgers, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in digital transformation, will focus on enhancing finance and operations, enterprise offerings, and improving integration between Southeast Asia (SEA) and Australia-New Zealand (A/NZ) markets. With his previous experience at companies like Air Asia and sa.global, Rodgers is expected to play a key role in expanding Wild Tech's presence in the manufacturing, supply chain management, professional services and retail and consumer goods sectors.

Rodgers stated, "The enterprise landscape is undergoing a once-in-a-generation shift. AI and technologies like Microsoft Copilot represent a revolution in how businesses operate."

In his new role, Rodgers will be based in Kuala Lumpur. He brings a wealth of knowledge in Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Dynamics ERP, and CRM, which positions him as a strategic asset for Wild Tech's aspirations to become a prominent technology partner in the Asia-Pacific region.

Rodgers added, "My mission is to enable organisations to harness automation and centralise operations, positioning them to thrive in this new era. By integrating SEA and A/NZ operations more closely, we can unlock new transformative business models and deliver tangible value to enterprises across the region."

Grant Wild, CEO and Managing Director at Wild Tech, expressed his enthusiasm for Rodgers joining the team. "Having Matthew on board strengthens our ability to meet enterprise needs and allows us to build on our learnings across the region with our biggest trading partners. With his guidance, we aim to push the boundaries of what's possible, transforming businesses by delivering smarter, more efficient and innovative solutions," he said.

Rodgers' previous role as Sales Director APAC at sa.global involved leading the implementation of Microsoft solutions across multiple countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, China, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. His deep understanding of the APAC market is anticipated to greatly benefit Wild Tech's strategic objectives and expand its Microsoft technology ecosystem.

Rodgers' appointment is seen as a step towards enhancing the company's capacity to deliver on transformative outcomes, particularly in industries that require close partnership and execution, such as manufacturing and professional services.
