Acer reveals Aspire Vero 16 and Aspire Go laptops, prioritising carbon neutrality

Acer has unveiled its new Aspire Vero 16 AI PC, deploying the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. The device is Acer's commitment to reaching carbon neutrality, as it's designed to counterbalance emissions throughout its lifecycle. In another significant launch, Acer has announced its Aspire Go laptops, offering multiple processing and display alternatives for everyday users.

The Aspire Vero 16 is the newest addition to the Vero line, armed with Intel Core Ultra processors, Intel AI boost, and Wi-Fi 7 compatibility. Assuring carbon neutrality, the PCs adhere to international standards for carbon footprint calculation and neutrality.

The device lifecycle is managed to minimise emissions, and high-quality carbon credits are enlisted to secure carbon neutrality. The Intel Evo Edition laptop employs post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in the chassis, doubling that of the previous model.

Aspire Go offerings aim to cater to home users and families with daily computing requirements. The Aspire Go 14 and 15 laptops possess boosted memory, full-function peripherals, and Acer PurifiedVoice technology. The Aspire Go 14 provides an option for the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processor. Laptops are built with the latest AI tech; an intelligent AI aide with Copilot in Windows and immediate access via a dedicated Copilot button. Acer PurifiedVoice ensures flawless conference calls.

Aspire Vero 16 brings premium PC experiences, productivity, and extended battery life of up to 10.5 hours on a single charge. The PC employs Copilot in Windows to assist users in navigating across their devices seamlessly. The PC's 1440p QHD webcam with AI-assisted Acer PurifiedVoice ensures noise-free conference calls. The laptop also has a 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory for upgradable storage.

The Aspire Vero 16 has a unique eco-chic design with a smoothened surface in an iconic Cobblestone Gray. The chassis comprises 60% PCR material, reducing CO2 emissions during production. The OceanGlass touchpad is made with ocean-bound plastic, shipped in 100% recycled packaging, and possesses EPEAT Gold registration.

Acer ensures an uncompromised user experience with features to enhance collaboration and support diverse lifestyles. The Aspire Vero 16's 16-inch WQXGA display provides a great space for work and entertainment, covering 100% of the sRGB colour space.

The device has advanced Wi-Fi 7 compatibility and vital connectivity features. The AcerSense app is integrated for managing the laptop's battery consumption and performance modes, and Intel Unison 2.0 integrates various devices and operating systems for seamless productivity.

The fresh Aspire Go laptops have the Intel Core i3 N-Series processors, up to 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe Gen3 SSD for sufficient storage. The Aspire Go models also include Acer BlueLightShield to protect the eyes during extensive viewing periods. The Aspire Go 15 and Aspire Go 14 incorporate recyclable materials in their covers and packaging and have Energy Star and EPEAT Silver registration.
