ActiveCampaign extends Slack integration for customers
Mon, 11th Apr 2022
FYI, this story is more than a year old

ActiveCampaign has announced an extended integration with Slack to provide a cost-effective way to facilitate seamless experiences across sales, marketing and customer support.

The deal will see ActiveCampaign offer Slack customers a 20% discount on a one-year subscription to the Customer Experience Automation platform.

ActiveCampaign says this will afford Slack customers better customer support and stronger relationships with their own customers.

Additionally, Slack will be offering ActiveCampaign customers interested in Slack business plans a 30% discount to ensure companies are in the best position as the remote and hybrid workplace model continues to grow.

ActiveCampaign explains that using the app for Slack will offer businesses improved customer support through automated ticket management alerts and increase sales through automated qualification messages to representatives.

Furthermore, businesses will also be able to keep track of their contacts' actions through automated campaign reporting to their marketing team.

ActiveCampaign notes that 44% of its customers recently reported they now spend more time talking with customers because of the time saved using automation.

In addition, the company says 70% of businesses that grew over the past year changed their business model in some form, and these tools protect organisations for future events where they may need to do so again.

“Our integration with Slack allows our joint customers to have immediate visibility into their customers' experience, and take action to improve the experience, fostering greater connection,” ActiveCampaign platform strategy senior vice president Shay Howe says.

“We look forward to setting even more businesses up for a successful digital-first workplace this year, working with Slack to enhance the experience for all.

Go! Running Tours is one business that has benefited from using the ActiveCampaign app during the pandemic because it allows for ActiveCampaign forms and email automations to organise virtual event communication.

Moreover, integrating ActiveCampaign's app with Slack affords the company notifications every time someone signs up for a tour through the company's form for events. This offers insights into individual customer interests and how best to contact them.

Go! Running Tours says before the pandemic, it had around 28% repeat business. This has now increased to 40%, and the company is experiencing continued growth as the people begin to travel more.

“Our city tour guides have developed a really strong community amongst themselves via Slack which has been great to see,” Go! Running Tours founder and CEO Lena Anderssen says.

“Because our lead guides and city managers are all connected on Slack, they all know each other. So, when a client runs in Madrid and goes to Barcelona four days later, the tour guides Phillip and Mattia have already spoken on Slack and can say ‘hey, I heard you had a great run with Phillip.' That makes people feel welcome and that they are actually seen as a guest.
