Adobe names Meredith O'Ryan Director of Enterprise Marketing

Wed, 27th Aug 2025

Adobe has announced the appointment of Meredith O'Ryan as Director of Enterprise Marketing for Australia and New Zealand and Flagship Events for Japan and Asia Pacific.

O'Ryan, who has worked at Adobe for nearly four years, previously held the position of Director of JAPAC Integrated Campaigns. In that role, she managed multi-regional marketing programmes and events, contributing to Adobe's wider marketing initiatives in the region.

With more than two decades of experience, O'Ryan is positioned to bring her expertise in integrated business-to-business marketing, managing strategic partnerships, and leading complex events to her new responsibilities. Her remit will include driving Adobe's enterprise marketing strategy across Australia and New Zealand, as well as overseeing major flagship events in Asia Pacific.

Duncan Egan, Vice President of Enterprise Marketing JAPAC, will be O'Ryan's reporting line. Egan commented on O'Ryan's appointment:

"Meredith's track record of building innovative, high-performing campaigns and delivering impact through flagship events positions her perfectly for this new role. Her leadership will be key in deepening relationships with our enterprise customers and advancing awareness of Adobe as the world's best marketing and AI platform for customer experience orchestration."

O'Ryan has built her career in a variety of B2B marketing environments and event management roles. Her work spans campaign design, activation, and execution across multiple markets, which aligns with Adobe's focus on reaching enterprise clients with regional needs.

Commenting on her new position, O'Ryan said:

"I'm thrilled to take on this new challenge, helping to shape the future of marketing as AI transforms the industry. As the only organisation to bring together world-class tools for creativity, customer data, content velocity and AI orchestration, Adobe has a unique brand story. I look forward to amplifying that story while we also celebrate and empower marketers and creative professionals across the region."

Adobe has not specified O'Ryan's immediate objectives, but her role is expected to focus on enhancing enterprise-level engagement and solidifying Adobe's presence at key industry events across the Asia Pacific and Japanese markets.

Her previous initiatives at Adobe included overseeing integrated campaign strategies, which involved collaboration across country teams and regional functions, experience thought leadership programmes, and flagship industry event delivery. The new appointment consolidates these responsibilities with a focus on the Australia, New Zealand, and broader regional event portfolio.

Industry analysts say that with changing trends in customer experience and increasing emphasis on artificial intelligence, the appointment marks a period where well-established hands in marketing are being positioned to manage both digital transformation and customer engagement efforts throughout diverse markets.

O'Ryan's leadership is seen as a move to reinforce Adobe's offering to corporate clients, at a time when tools for managing content, data, and customer insight are becoming increasingly prominent for businesses.
