
Alarm.com sees rising demand in Australia for AI security
Alarm.com has reported growth in demand for AI-driven security solutions in Australia amidst rising crime rates, particularly in Victoria and New South Wales.
According to Victorian crime statistics, theft offences have escalated by 41,675 incidents over a year, totalling 208,758. Property and deception offences have similarly increased by 19.2%, reaching 332,342 incidents. In New South Wales, motor vehicle thefts have risen by 12.5%, and break-ins have reached a four-year high.

Partnering with several companies in Australia, Alarm.com has shown significant growth. ADT Australia has seen over 36,000 activations. Chubb Fire & Security has reported a doubling of activations from the first to the second quarter and a further 10% increase in the third quarter.
