Research firm Forrester has named Avanade a leader in The Forrester Wave: Microsoft Business Applications Services for Q4 2021.

According to the report, Avanade has been at the top of the MBAS ecosystem for many years now.

Its vast market presence and strong proximity to Microsoft help the company stand out from the competition, the report says.

According to Forrester, Microsoft Business Applications has gained significant momentum, enjoying significant growth and becoming a preferred platform for digital business transformation platform in a variety of industries. It says service providers play a critical role in delivering on the promise of business agility and transformation.

"Avanade is a strong bet for a wide range of enterprises that have chosen the Microsoft stack to drive broad-based business transformation," says Forrester principal analyst and report author, Leslie Joseph.

"Reference customers favourably noted Avanade's investments in innovation and its ability to support an MBAS engagement throughout the lifecycle from ideation to execution."

Gord Mawhinney, Global Business Applications lead at Avanade, says it's "terrific" to see Avanade recognised by Forrester as a leader among Microsoft Business Application Services following its assessment of the market.

"Our delivery capabilities, the depth and breadth of our industry knowledge and experience enable us to make a genuine human impact for our clients and their customers, empowering them to build resilience, rethink and grow their business," he says.

"When combined with our advisory and innovation skills, we believe that our solutions are unrivalled anywhere in the world."

Forrester's research assessed the top 15 service providers in global Microsoft applications implementation services across 20 criteria, in three areas: current offering, strategy and market presence.

Last month, Avanade received Leader status on the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Microsoft Implementation Services 2021 Vendor Assessment.

The IDC report measured 13 Microsoft application system integrators against a set of parameters that the analyst firm anticipated to be the 'most conducive to success' in providing a Microsoft implementation service.

At the time, Avanade CEO Pam Maynard said the report solidifies the company's standing in the industry.

"Helping clients to become resilient and agile, and advising them on how to maximise the potential of their Microsoft investment to drive growth, is at the heart of what we do to make a genuine human impact," she says.

Avanade is a provider of innovative digital and cloud services, business solutions and design-led experiences on the Microsoft ecosystem.

"Our professionals bring bold, fresh thinking combined with technology, business, and industry expertise to help make a genuine human impact for our clients, their customers, and their employees," the company says.

"We are the power behind the Accenture Microsoft Business Group, helping companies to engage customers, empower employees, optimise operations, and transform products, leveraging the Microsoft platform."

Avanade has 50,000 professionals in 26 countries. Majority owned by Accenture, Avanade was founded in 2000 by Accenture LLP and Microsoft Corporation.
