Cloudera & Aboitiz Data's pioneering AI partnership for APAC
A high-powered partnership has been formed between Cloudera, the renowned data company for trusted enterprise AI, and Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI), a pioneering data science and AI specialist. The partnership aims to offer next-level data science and AI operationalisation to financial services and industrial customers across the Asia Pacific region.
In an era where companies gear up for generative AI, a massive amount of spending is directed towards data centre systems. Gartner's recent research underlines the growth in this area. The growth rate jumps from 4% in 2023 to an impressive 10% by 2024. The promising forecast mirrors the unparalleled demand for data management and Gen AI. ADI's expertise aids Cloudera in leading the AI-driven data management and machine learning solutions development front.
Remus Lim, Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Cloudera, elaborates: "ADI will build GenAI solutions on Cloudera's platform, helping customers turn AI hype into business reality. I look forward to working closely with ADI as we continue to set the new standard for AI and machine learning solutions while helping teams manage and reduce their growing workloads."
ADI's CEO, Dr. David R. Hardoon, describes the impact of this collaboration, stating that it will "empower our teams to extract actionable insights from data more effectively, pushing the boundaries of data innovation and enhancing our competitive edge in the digital era."
Cloudera and ADI will jointly strive to develop high-performing machine learning data management solutions. ADI will provide consultancy services on Cloudera software in the areas of enterprise AI/ML/AI Lab, data governance and ethics. The innovative partnership will explore the potent generative AI (GenAI) applications within Cloudera solutions utilising Accelerators for Machine Learning Projects (AMPs). These bespoke solutions will enable organisations to more nimbly and intuitively build, adapt and deploy GenAI applications for specific use cases, including data ingestion, engineering, data lake design, data quality, ML model and app development and operational efficiency.
Cloudera and ADI's combined capabilities will aid organisations in building and integrating game-changing GenAI solutions that can set them apart from competitors. As such, this strategic partnership is more than just a symbiotic relationship; it is a game-changing blueprint for the AI and data management sector.
