Comms Group posts record March revenue of $5.0 million

Thu, 17th Apr 2025

Comms Group has reported record monthly revenue for March 2025, supported by global expansion and a series of major contract wins.

The company reported achieving an unaudited total revenue of $5.0 million in March 2025, marking the highest monthly revenue in its history. This total consisted of $1.36 million from its Global business, $1.74 million from its Secure Modern Workplace Solutions division, and $2.0 million from its Cloud Communications and Collaboration segment, after accounting for inter-company sales of approximately $0.1 million.

For the third quarter of the 2025 financial year, unaudited revenue reached $14.1 million. This follows revenue of $27.0 million for the first half of FY25. During the quarter, Global & Wholesale contributed $3.6 million, Secure Modern Workplace Solutions accounted for $5.0 million, and Cloud Communications and Collaboration delivered $6.0 million. These figures are net of $0.5 million in inter-company sales.

The Global division's March revenue of $1.36 million represented a 26% increase compared to the average monthly revenue in the first half of the financial year. This rise was attributed to the onboarding of several domestic and multinational customers. The company expects further revenue growth in the fourth quarter as service provisioning continues across approximately 20 countries.

Both the Secure Modern Workplace Solutions and Cloud Communications and Collaboration divisions experienced ongoing growth during the quarter, driven by increased demand for IT managed services, cloud communications, and collaboration platforms.

Comms Group secured new contracts across a variety of industries, including automotive, energy, finance, insurance, government, aviation, and consumer goods sectors. During the third quarter, the company reported signing $2.4 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) contracts, bringing the year-to-date total of new contract wins to $8.4 million ARR.

Among the new business, previously announced contracts are progressing as anticipated. A $2.4 million contract with a global SaaS provider, first announced in September 2024, has commenced partial billing, with full provisioning scheduled by July 2025. Another contract, with a US-based technology company and projected to generate between $1.5–2.0 million annually, also began partial billing in the third quarter, with full revenue contribution expected in the following quarter.

The company reported continued progress in operational efficiency. A significant initiative to consolidate billing platforms within the Cloud Communications and Collaboration division has been launched. This project aims to reduce costs and improve data analytics capabilities.

Within the Secure Modern Workplace Solutions business, Comms Group has implemented a new Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) hypervisor platform, which the company anticipates will deliver annual cost savings of $300,000.

Enhancements to the company's customer support environment are underway. The planned upgrade includes improved endpoint management, backup, and security monitoring capabilities. Full deployment is targeted for April 2026, with annual savings of a further $300,000 expected.

The company stated, "Comms Group continues to deliver strong growth through strategic client acquisition, international expansion, and operational efficiencies. The Company remains focused on scaling its global service delivery and enhancing customer experience across all divisions. With continued progress on strategic initiatives, international expansion, and a strong pipeline of opportunities, Comms Group remains well-positioned to sustain its growth trajectory."

Unaudited financial results for the third quarter of FY25 are scheduled to be released later in April 2025.
