Coralogix has announced the commercial launch of Olly, an autonomous observability agent designed to identify and resolve production issues in real time. The solution analyses telemetry data, pinpoints root causes, and delivers actionable insights without the need for human prompting.
Automation approach
Olly is positioned as an engineering partner, able to autonomously decide which data to analyse, execute relevant queries, and explain its actions. The tool aims to streamline traditional troubleshooting processes where engineers typically sift through dashboards and manually correlate logs, metrics, and traces. By automating these steps, Coralogix states that investigation times can be reduced from hours to minutes.
Production insights
The agent continually monitors for anomalies and key signals within live telemetry. When a production incident occurs, Olly can identify affected services, highlight bottlenecks, and recommend next steps. According to Coralogix, Olly also provides visualisations on demand to support evidence-based decision-making for teams dealing with critical system events.
User experiences
Coralogix's customers have begun implementing Olly in live environments. Michael Woodside, Director of DevOps at Pacvue, described the platform's impact on their operations.
"We were facing unpredictable latency spikes that disrupted our service, and manual troubleshooting just wasn't cutting it. Olly automatically analyzed two weeks of telemetry across our app, infrastructure, and databases-something that would've taken us days to do manually. It pinpointed CPU pressure on an RDS instance caused by an indirect dependency we hadn't considered. After a quick resize, the latency issues disappeared. Thanks to Olly, we resolved the issue rapidly, improved performance, and delivered a better experience to our users," said Woodside.
Business context
The launch comes as technology teams report increasing pressure to improve speed and quality of software delivery. Automation in observability is seen by some organisations as a means to achieve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and improve service reliability. Ariel Assaraf, CEO and Co-Founder of Coralogix, commented on the changing expectations facing these teams.
"Organisations are under tremendous pressure to deliver rapidly and at higher quality," said Ariel Assaraf, CEO and Co-Founder, Coralogix. "Olly gives teams insights that weren't possible before, turning telemetry data into clear, reliable answers so businesses can ship faster and operate with far greater confidence."
Industry perspective
Liran Hason, Vice President of AI at Coralogix, views Olly as changing the way teams respond to production challenges. "Olly isn't another assistant; it's a new way of working. It brings the intelligence and context teams need to make rapid, high-impact decisions across engineering, product, and operations," said Hason.
