The Cyber Rights Organization, a prominent advocate for digital privacy and cyber rights, has published a new article to raise awareness about the importance of cyber rights and offers practical strategies to safeguard personal data in today's increasingly digital world.

According to the article, in the context of our technologically advanced society, the protection of personal data has emerged as a critical concern.

It says individuals face constant risks, ranging from online gender based violence, to data breaches to unauthorised surveillance, which threaten their privacy.

According to research by Cybersecurity Ventures, cybercrime costs the world $8 trillion a year. This opens the debate on the urgency of international laws that apply in the online space to protect cyber rights.
