Fri, 2nd Oct 2026 (Today)
Dreame has launched four robot vacuum models in Australia: the Aqua20 Ultra Roller, X60 Ultra Extreme, L60 Ultra and L60 Ultra AE.
The new line-up expands its offering at the upper end of the home cleaning market, with retail prices ranging from AUD $2,199 to AUD $3,299.
The launch is led by the Aqua20 Ultra Roller and X60 Ultra Extreme, positioned as the standout additions. The Aqua20 Ultra Roller combines steam mopping with high suction and obstacle-clearing functions, while the X60 Ultra Extreme introduces an extendable arm design intended to reach further into corners and under furniture.
The Aqua20 Ultra Roller features 180°C dual high-temperature steam mopping, 40,000Pa suction and obstacle crossing of up to 10cm. It also includes an 8cm MopExtend function for edge and corner cleaning, along with blue light dirt detection that adjusts cleaning performance when hidden dirt is identified.
The X60 Ultra Extreme sits at the top of the range as the flagship model. It is the first Dreame product to include Dual-Joint UltraExtend Arms, with a 12cm side-reach arm and an 18cm MopExtend arm.
The X60 Ultra Extreme also includes dual AI cameras, blue light detection and recognition for more than 320 household obstacle types. Other features include 42,000Pa suction, anti-tangle technology, obstacle clearing of up to 10cm, and a dock with 100°C hot-water mop self-cleaning and automatic hot-air drying.
Two lower-priced models, the L60 Ultra and L60 Ultra AE, broaden the range further. Both are aimed at households seeking automated cleaning functions at a lower entry price than the headline models.
The L60 Ultra is priced at AUD $2,799 and includes 35,000Pa suction, an 8.2cm profile and AI-enhanced 3D mapping. It also has Dual Flex Arm technology for corner and edge coverage, upgraded EasyLeap obstacle handling for heights up to 5cm, and a dock with automatic detergent refilling and 100°C mop self-cleaning.
The L60 Ultra AE, priced at AUD $2,199, has the same 35,000Pa suction and uses 3DAdapt obstacle avoidance. It also features upgraded EasyLeap navigation, a dock with auto-emptying and mop self-cleaning, and Dual Flex Arm technology.
Retail rollout
The Aqua20 Ultra Roller is on sale through Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Bing Lee and Dreame's Australian sales channel for AUD $3,299. The L60 Ultra is available through Harvey Norman and Dreame for AUD $2,799, while the L60 Ultra AE is sold through Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Bing Lee and Dreame for AUD $2,199.
The X60 Ultra Extreme will also retail for AUD $3,299 and will be sold through Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys and Dreame.
Dreame's broader pitch is that Australian consumers are looking for products that reduce manual cleaning work in the home. It is using a mix of steam cleaning, obstacle handling, self-cleaning docks and extendable arms to distinguish the new models in a crowded robot vacuum market.
That market has become more competitive as brands push beyond basic vacuuming into combined vacuum-and-mop systems with increasingly elaborate docking stations. Manufacturers have also focused on how well devices handle thresholds, hair tangles, edges and furniture clearance - all areas Dreame highlights in its latest release.
Founded in 2017, Dreame says it has filed more than 2,000 patent applications globally and has been granted more than 800 patents. The company sells smart home appliances focused on household cleaning and personal care.
Patrick Wang, Business Director, Dreame Technology ANZ, said: "Spring is a great time to give the home a proper clean, especially after months of dust and dirt building up. But we also know that for busy households, finding the time to stay on top of everyday mess isn't always easy. That's why Dreame continues to innovate with features designed to make cleaning more effortless, from steam-powered cleaning and an extendable mop on the Aqua20 Ultra Roller to the 18cm extendable mop on the X60 Ultra Extreme, helping reach tricky corners and hard-to-access areas. These innovations are designed to make our customers' lives easier, so they can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying their day."
