Elastic has received two 2025 Google Cloud Partner of the Year Awards, acknowledging its contribution to artificial intelligence innovation and application development within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
The company, which identifies as "the Search AI Company," was honoured in the Artificial Intelligence category for both Data Management & AI and Tooling. The recognition marks a significant step in its collaboration with Google Cloud, particularly around generative AI (GenAI) solutions.
"Google Cloud's Partner Awards recognise partners who have created outsised value for customers through the delivery of innovative solutions and a high level of expertise," said Kevin Ichhpurani, president, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud. "We're proud to announce Elastic as a 2025 Google Cloud Partner Award winner and celebrate their impact enabling customer success over the past year."
Elastic's award wins reflect its efforts to simplify the development and deployment of GenAI applications for joint customers through what the company describes as "practical, impactful solutions."
As part of its ongoing partnership with Google Cloud, Elastic has delivered integrations with Google Cloud embedding, reranking and completion models. These integrations offer developers a unified experience for creating and ranking vectors, enhancing the efficiency and relevance of search results powered by AI.
In addition, Elastic is working towards becoming the first independent software vendor (ISV) directly integrated into the user interface and software development kit for Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform. According to Elastic, the upcoming integration will allow users to take advantage of Elastic's vector search capabilities for grounded prompts and agents using Gemini models.
Elastic also provides built-in monitoring tools for Vertex AI, enabling teams to track key metrics and logs in order to optimise model performance.
"Our partnership with Google Cloud is founded on deep AI integrations and a shared commitment to innovation," said Alyssa Fitzpatrick, global vice president, Partner Sales at Elastic. "This focus directly translates into empowering our customers, unlocking new possibilities, and driving impactful results within their organisations. We are witnessing firsthand how these combined efforts accelerate their success and reinforce the value of our collaborative approach."
Elastic's GenAI-related features are not limited to application development. The company leverages Google Cloud's Gemini models to power a range of tools, including Elastic AI Assistants, Attack Discovery, and Automatic Import. These tools are designed to support both security analysts and site reliability engineers (SREs), helping automate tasks and reduce manual workload, enabling teams to focus on more strategic priorities.
The recognition and continued product development highlight the strategic nature of the Elastic-Google Cloud relationship, particularly in how both organisations are aligning around the future of generative AI.
The awards and new integrations underscore a shared vision to enhance how developers, security teams, and operations engineers can maximise the value of their AI investments, particularly in fast-evolving enterprise environments.
