Elite appoints Kirk Rogers to lead APAC sales push
Elite has appointed former law firm executive Kirk Rogers as Head of APAC Sales, as the legal technology provider steps up its expansion across the Asia Pacific region.
The New York-based company, which supplies software for law firm operations, said the move marked a new phase of growth in markets across Asia and Australasia. The business has operated in the region for several years and works with some of its largest firms.
Elite said it has established a local team and a base of long-standing customers in APAC. The company now plans to increase regional sales activity and deepen engagement with firms that are upgrading financial and practice management systems.
Rogers will lead Elite's sales strategy across Asia Pacific from Sydney. He will work with existing clients and prospects in markets that include Australia and New Zealand, as well as other jurisdictions where international and domestic firms are investing in new technology.
Rogers previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Australian law firm Gilchrist Connell. He oversaw technology modernisation at the firm and directed IT infrastructure, risk and legal operations.
Elite said this background gives him direct insight into the operational challenges that law firms face. These include billing processes, financial management, time recording and data handling across distributed practices.
"Elite has a trusted presence in APAC grounded in long-standing customer relationships and a deeply capable local team," said Kirk Rogers, Head of APAC Sales, Elite. "This role is about building on that foundation. My focus is to work closely with our customers and teams to help law firms modernize with confidence and meet increasingly complex business demands with the right technology and partnership in place."
Law firms in the region have been investing in cloud-based systems, data platforms and artificial intelligence tools as competitive and regulatory pressures increase. Many large practices are replacing legacy finance and practice management software with integrated platforms.
Regional focus
Elite described APAC as a strategically important market. The company said it is seeing growing demand from firms that want closer integration between financial operations, time recording and analytics.
"APAC is a strategically important region for Elite, and we are seeing meaningful momentum across our customer base," said Mark Dorman, Chief Executive Officer, Elite. "Kirk brings a rare combination of regional leadership, operational depth, and firsthand experience inside a law firm. His appointment reflects our long-term commitment to the region and our belief that strong local leadership is essential to helping law firms scale, modernize, and operate with resilience."
Elite's core platform targets law firm finance and operational processes. The company offers a cloud-native SaaS system that unifies financial, invoice, time and data management in a single environment.
The software uses embedded artificial intelligence and predictive analytics. It also includes integrated payments functions that sit within the wider financial workflow.
Elite said firms use the platform to shorten billing cycles. They also seek to reduce write-offs and gain better visibility over financial performance.
The company said it positions financial operations as a central element of law firm management. It also promotes the use of data and analytics for pricing, profitability assessment and resource planning.
APAC growth plans
Elite has operated for decades in major legal markets in North America and Europe. Its recent focus has included building out regional teams closer to customers.
In APAC, the company has worked with large firms that are moving core systems into the cloud. Many of these firms are also building data lakes and exploring the use of AI across document, matter and billing workflows.
Rogers is expected to expand Elite's relationships with existing clients while targeting new law firms across the region. His remit includes collaboration with local partners and internal product and delivery teams.
Elite said it aims to sustain momentum in APAC over the coming years through a combination of local leadership, technology investment and closer engagement with law firm management teams.
"This role is about building on that foundation. My focus is to work closely with our customers and teams to help law firms modernize with confidence and meet increasingly complex business demands with the right technology and partnership in place," said Rogers.
