Wed, 12th Jul 2023

eStar, Australasia's foremost eCommerce solutions provider, has confirmed the appointment of Vin Sivan as the new Sales Director for Australasia. Sivan will oversee both eStar and Viare, its independent order management solution.

A seasoned sales and marketing professional, Sivan brings two decades of experience to his new role at eStar. He has a commendable track record for achieving growth objectives while nurturing a positive team environment.

Before joining eStar, Sivan served as the Head of B2B at Opypro, a SaaS-based B2B trade management and payments platform. Opypro has been employed by notable businesses like Woolworths Group, HP, and Kogan, and is a part of the Openpay Group.

Sivan's diverse background in business development includes a tenure at Moula Pay, where he tackled challenges around B2B Payments, trade credit, and working capital. Earlier, he was responsible for overseeing a region for Humm, with a concentration on eCommerce and in-store payment options for BNPL. His expertise also extends to retail and franchise businesses, having held the position of a Master Franchise holder for New York Slice in Victoria.

Based in Melbourne, Sivan joins eStar as it continues to support numerous well-known Australian and New Zealand retail brands in fulfilling their eCommerce needs.

“eStar is a respected name in eCommerce and its investment in the Viare order management solution brings even more value to both large and specialty retailers,” Sivan says. He also noted the changing dynamics of the retail industry and says, “Retail faces a rapidly changing environment and eStar’s solutions offer local eCommerce brands and retailers the technology and insight to not just remain competitive but to grow.”

Alison Crosbie, CGO of eStar, expressed excitement about Sivan's appointment, saying, “We are excited to have Vin onboard and we look forward to seeing what he brings to the role."
