Fivecast wins National Exporter Award for technology
Fivecast has been awarded the National Australian Exporter Award for Advanced Technologies at the 62nd Australian Export Awards, marking its second win in this category.
This recognition follows Fivecast's success as the South Australia State Winner, where it was a finalist in both Exporter of the Year and Advanced Technologies categories. The company is acknowledged for its work in digital intelligence solutions, particularly its open-source intelligence technologies.
Brenton Cooper, Chief Executive Officer of Fivecast, commented on the achievement, saying, "Winning the National Exporter Award for Advanced Technologies is a testament to our team's hard work and commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation. It reinforces our mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower our clients globally. We are incredibly thankful for the support of The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (AUSTRADE) and the South Australian Department of State Development, whose guidance has been crucial in our export journey. Their commitment to fostering innovation and growth has played a significant role in our success."
Based in Adelaide, Fivecast employs proprietary open-source intelligence (OSINT) technology, along with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and deep machine learning expertise, to address complex intelligence challenges. Its operations support sectors including national security, law enforcement, corporate security, and financial intelligence, helping uncover threats and actionable insights from extensive digital data.
Fivecast's achievements highlight its service to federal, state, and local government agencies across the Five Eyes alliance—consisting of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the US—and beyond. Additionally, its expansion into the US corporate security market has seen revenues grow over 70% annually, while it has also secured its first EU client in Spain and strengthened its presence in the UK and Europe.
The company's advancements include pioneering generative AI capabilities that transform intelligence risk assessments. Features such as "adjudicative factors" enable faster and more consistent analysis of critical data, addressing use cases like security vetting, fraud detection, and border security.
Additionally, Fivecast recently launched the Fivecast ONYX Discovery solution, enhancing the "discovery" phase of investigations. This tool aids intelligence analysts in efficiently resolving online identities and verifying critical information.
Looking ahead, Fivecast plans to expand further into Southeast Asia, as well as to increase its presence in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. The company is focused on building robust international partnerships to navigate challenges such as language barriers and varying regulatory landscapes.
By winning the Advanced Technologies award twice and continuing to drive intelligence innovation globally, Fivecast is positioned to maintain its trajectory in delivering solutions that contribute to a safer global environment.
