Gallagher Security Australia raised AUD $90,000 for Bravehearts at its annual Charity Golf Day, the largest amount ever raised by a Bravehearts partner in the child protection organisation's 29-year history.
More than 150 people attended the event on the Gold Coast, including channel partners, end users, technology partners and consultants from across the security sector. The total had already surpassed the previous year's result before play began.
Proceeds will support Bravehearts' prevention, early intervention and specialist counselling services for children affected by sexual abuse. The organisation says the crime affects one in four Australians.
Sponsors included ADT, Convergint, Hanwha Vision, Optic Security Group, PMT Security Systems, Salto Systems, Seadan Security and Electronics, Secom Technical Services, Traka and Travel Experts. Their backing helped make this Gallagher's biggest Charity Golf Day to date.
Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA at Gallagher Security, said the result reflected a broader industry effort.
"Each year, we see more organisations coming together with a genuine desire to support Bravehearts and their important work in Australia. That shared purpose is incredibly powerful," Schutte said.
Gallagher has maintained a long-running partnership with Bravehearts, which Schutte said was central to the latest result.
"At Gallagher, people sit at the centre of everything we do. Our long-standing partnership with Bravehearts is something we're deeply proud of. To see this event become the largest fundraiser in Bravehearts' partner history is a powerful reminder of what our industry can achieve when it works together for a cause that truly matters," he said.

Alongside fundraising, the day featured a series of informal competitions, including a marshmallow drive challenge won by Craig Hughes from Sonic Healthcare with a throw of 52 metres.
PMT Security won the Best Dressed team award with coordinated shirts and shorts featuring the Gallagher Security and Bravehearts heart logo on one sleeve, the event date on the other, and a golfer pattern across the shirts.
Bravehearts Chief Executive Officer Alison Geale said the support from Gallagher and the wider industry had a direct impact on the organisation's work.
"Gallagher Security's ongoing commitment plays a critical role in enabling Bravehearts to deliver services where they are needed most," Geale said.
She said the funds raised would help address funding shortfalls while expanding support services.
"Events like the Charity Golf Day help bridge key funding gaps, allowing us to expand preventative education in schools and early learning environments, while continuing to provide specialist, trauma-informed counselling for children and families impacted by abuse," she said.
