Gigamon celebrates top ANZ partners at 2024 awards event

Today

Gigamon has celebrated its 2024 ANZ Partner Awards, recognising the achievements of its top-performing partners in hybrid cloud security management.

The awards event was held in Sydney on March 5th and aimed to honour channel partners for their significant contributions to security and observability within the ANZ region.

The awards underscore the importance of strong customer alliances in improving cybersecurity and infrastructure management.

The Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, a primary tool used by the partners, aids organisations in extracting real-time intelligence from network traffic. This enables them to eliminate blind spots, optimise performance, and substantially improve the efficiency of existing security and observability tools.

Simon Oliver, Head of Channel, ANZ, at Gigamon, remarked on the current market conditions: "The demand for greater visibility across hybrid cloud infrastructure is driving the market at present, as organisations look to strengthen their security posture and maximise the return from their tool investments."

"Our channel partners are integral to bringing the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline to local companies to help address their most critical cybersecurity and IT challenges."

Among the recognised partners, Prescient Solutions received accolades for being both the ANZ Partner of the Year and the recipient of the APAC Partner Award.

These acknowledgments were highlighted at the ANZ event and had also been presented at the Gigamon Sales Kick-off event earlier in January.

The 2024 partners were lauded across several categories: Innovation went to MSS Data Solutions; the Rising Star (Australia) was awarded to Matrium Technologies; in New Zealand, the Rising Star was Datacom; the Federal Government category was won by Prescient Solutions; Distribution Excellence was attributed to NEXTGEN; Growth recognised mcrIT; and the Enterprise category went to CyberCX.

The GigaCHAMP awards recognised individuals within the community who exemplify excellence in customer engagement and effectively demonstrate the value of Gigamon solutions.

Winners included George Ishak, Chief Technology Officer at mcrIT, and Peter Smith, Security Consultant at Prescient Solutions, in the Sales and Technical categories, respectively.

Reflecting on the partner ecosystem's strength, Oliver stated: "These awards are a testament to the strength of our partner ecosystem and the collective drive to enhance the security and management of hybrid cloud infrastructure for our customers. We look forward to continuing these collaborations in 2025 and beyond."

Gigamon has focused on bolstering its channel operations in the ANZ region over the past year. This includes enhanced training and support, as well as expanding its partner network through the Gigamon Catalyst Partner Program.

This program offers digital marketing opportunities, in-depth training, sales tools, and financing, having consistently received high ratings in CRN's Partner Program Guide.
