Hexaware launches AI app for eCommerce product descriptions

Hexaware has launched a new generative AI application designed to assist retailers in creating product descriptions and enhancing customer experience. Named the Gen AI App, it is now accessible through AWS Marketplace, allowing eCommerce retailers to utilise its features to bolster their online presence.

The application addresses several core challenges within eCommerce through AI-powered content creation, enhanced visual merchandising, and improved SEO and customer engagement.

The Gen AI App automates the creation of product descriptions by analysing uploaded images. This feature is expected to save retailers significant time and resources. The application also streamlines inventory management by enabling bulk image uploads for multiple items at once. Additionally, the ‘Shift Image Lifestyle Transformation’ feature uses generative AI to align product visuals with a brand's desired image and lifestyle aesthetic, thereby providing a more personalised shopping experience.
