HP introduces innovative suite of AI-enabled platforms & services
Fri, 8th Mar 2024

HP has announced a suite of innovative services and solutions at the Amplify Partner Conference 2024. These offerings aim to optimise value and enable partners to grow their services and software businesses. Among these, HP WEX, the company’s first AI-enabled digital experience platform, will be introduced. Furthermore, HP will launch a new managed service offering for PCs, a new print subscription service, simplified support packages, and services and programs aimed at extending device lifetimes while also accelerating the circular economy.

Dave Shull, President of HP Workforce Solutions, explained, "We are in the midst of a historic shift in the way people work. Happy, motivated, and productive employees drive better business results." According to Shull, HP's new services and solutions will pivotally "enable channel partners to deliver amazing work experiences to their customers while creating recurring revenue streams."

Last year, HP launched Workforce Central, a tool that allows IT managers to discover, configure, monitor, and manage HP devices from one place. Taking this vision to new heights, the company is now introducing WEX, its new Workforce Experience Platform. This platform leverages AI to empower CIOs, fostering workplace productivity by unlocking the full potential of the collective workforce.

WEX incorporates a new suite of capabilities that, with the help of AI, provide persona-based recommendations, streamline hardware monitoring, capture employee sentiment, reduce TCO, automate tasks, and strengthen corporate security. Notably, HP is also teaming up with Microsoft to imbue WEX with AI to maximise device uptime for employees.

Demonstrating its commitment to promoting a circular economy, HP is also unveiling new programs to help extend the lifespan of devices. The new Device Life Extension Service is among these, enabling customers to optimise their IT investments whilst simultaneously reducing their carbon footprints by enhancing device performance and maximising the life of their existing HP PCs.

The company has also introduced its first Partner Certified Refurbishment program. This allows commercial customers to purchase HP Partner Certified refurbished devices, rigorously tested and passed through an extensive refurbishment process.

HP has also simplified and streamlined its offerings to give channel partners a broad range of choices for services that complement their own offerings. This includes a new, fully-managed PC service, an upgraded Managed Print Services portfolio featuring integrated software solutions, and a new Managed Print Services subscription model, to name a few.

Together, these new and improved HP services and solutions promise to supercharge productivity, streamline device management, drive business growth, and promote a more sustainable, circular economy. With the unveiling of these attributes at the Amplify Partner Conference 2024, HP continues its steady march in its mission to drive digital transformation and productivity in the workplace.
