Jitterbit enhances Harmony with AI-driven NLP integration

Yesterday

Jitterbit has announced the integration of artificial intelligence natural language processing into its Harmony platform, aiming to facilitate the development, management, and integration of business applications through simple commands.

The announcement from Jitterbit highlights AI capabilities designed to help users build and integrate applications more easily. The Harmony platform's AI enhancements allow users to employ natural language processing, which removes technical barriers and enables the creation, modification, and exposure of APIs, and the management of complex applications through spoken commands.

"AI acts as a bridge between IT and line-of-business users, fostering true collaboration across the enterprise," said Jitterbit President and CEO Bill Conner. "By infusing AI natural language processing into the Harmony platform, we're simplifying the building, integrating, connecting, and exposing of applications. What were once isolated applications now become interconnected enterprise systems, enabling seamless connections and integrations to enterprise-wide processes."

Antonio Cisternino, CIO and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Pisa, commented on the significance of AI in business transformation. "AI is no longer just a tool — it's the catalyst for seamless, end-to-end automation that drives innovation at every level of business," he said. "With Jitterbit's new AI capabilities, organizations can now gain a holistic view of their data, powered by enterprise systems that are fully automated from end to end, driving smarter decisions and accelerating business outcomes in a controlled way."

The integration of NLP technology into the Harmony platform supports the advancement towards a future where systems can adapt, learn and operate autonomously. "By eliminating the need for traditional coding, NLP makes developing applications, building and managing APIs, and integrating complex workflows accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise," explained Jitterbit CTO Manoj Chaudhary. "This advancement is a critical milestone on the path toward agentic AI, where systems can intelligently adapt, learn, and execute autonomously."

Jitterbit has also introduced several AI-infused assistants to help manage applications and APIs. "Users can use simple natural language to create actionable code, enabling them to develop, manage, and integrate applications and systems seamlessly across the business — saving hundreds of hours in the process," added Chaudhary.

The AI-Infused App Builder Assistant and AI-Infused API Manager are among the newly introduced features, both available in beta for Jitterbit customers. Additionally, AskJB AI acts as an intelligent assistant offering real-time guidance and information within the Harmony platform.

Further additions to the Harmony platform include new observability tools, a cloud-based datastore, and enhanced security standards. The platform's new observability feature provides real-time visibility into private agent performance with pre-built dashboards for operational insights. The Cloud Datastore facilitates the management and retrieval of integration data, supporting both structured and unstructured data storage compliant with GDPR regulations for the EU.

Jitterbit has also attained new security certifications, including ISO 27017 and ISO 27018, alongside NZISM certification for New Zealand and Australia, ensuring that the platform meets global security standards.
