Kore.ai launches GALE to simplify enterprise AI application development
Kore.ai has announced the launch of GALE, a Generative AI and LLM Platform, designed for enterprises that aims to help businesses build GenAI applications that enhance productivity and innovation.
GALE is described as the industry's first dedicated GenAI application platform, addressing the need for rapid development and deployment of advanced AI applications within enterprise environments. With a no-code toolset and intuitive visual interface, the platform allows businesses to experiment with various models and build AI agents without the need for specialised AI talent.
According to a recent McKinsey report, organisations face challenges in deploying GenAI across business units, particularly in finding the right use case and scaling AI solutions to derive business value. Raj Koneru, CEO and founder of Kore.ai, commented: "The launch of transformer models has taken the world by storm, leaving enterprises wondering where to start and how to leverage advanced AI for delivering business value. GALE addresses the fragmentation and limitations within the current ecosystem. It's a cohesive platform integrating core AI app-building functionalities with built-in guardrails."
Konu further stated, "None of the hyperscalers or other GenAI app providers offer customers an end-to-end capability to experiment with a range of LLM or SLM models to develop, deploy, and manage sophisticated GenAI apps. GALE does." The platform aims to simplify AI application development, slashing development time by up to 50% and enabling rapid prototyping. It also integrates smoothly into existing enterprise ecosystems, supporting large-scale AI implementations.
GALE includes several features to enhance its functionality:
- A no-code flow-builder and drag-and-drop interface for creating complex workflows, apps, and AI agents, reducing dependency on specialised technical resources.
- A Model Hub that provides centralised access to over 30 AI models, allowing businesses to refine and fine-tune them according to specific business needs.
- AI Agents that automate complex tasks and workflows, thereby increasing operational efficiency.
- A Prompt Studio that allows developers to craft prompts, enabling businesses to move from ideas to production faster.
Vaibhav Bansal, Vice President at Everest Group, highlighted the need for platforms that offer a seamless way to build, deploy, and scale AI agents and applications. "Typical platform features include an AI/ML orchestration layer for efficient model management, the ability to seamlessly connect with enterprise data, a low-code interface, and an application development layer for deploying AI agents or apps," Bansal noted.
More than 100 companies are currently leveraging the GALE beta version for various purposes, including improving market intelligence research, better knowledge management, creating diverse content, and bolstering process automation in areas such as claims processing, customer order processing, and inventory management.
Sreenivas Unnamatla, Executive Vice President of Kore.ai for the APAC region, added: "Enterprises in this region want to leverage the best available global expertise, GenAI technologies, and language models to meet emerging market needs. GALE provides them with the capability to test various LLMs, and localise and customise them to meet organisational needs and regulatory requirements."
GALE offers businesses a scalable and secure environment for building GenAI agents. Currently, companies across sectors like banking, healthcare, insurance, and retail are exploring its potential for value creation.
