Lenovo unveils new ThinkCentre desktops for businesses

Today

Lenovo has unveiled two new additions to its ThinkCentre desktop PC lineup aimed at enhancing productivity and security for businesses.

The new models, the ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 and the ThinkCentre Neo 50q QC are designed to cater to diverse business needs. They offer a combination of AI-enhanced performance capabilities and advanced security features. Lenovo has incorporated its AI Now technology into both models, enabling on-device personal AI capabilities to improve multitasking efficiencies and secure user experiences.

The ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 is an all-in-one desktop solution featuring a 27-inch QHD display with four-sided ultra-thin bezels. It has an Intel Core Ultra processor and offers optional upgrades such as a discrete NPU and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. This makes it particularly suitable for industries that rely on high-performance computing, including the creative and healthcare sectors.

One of the standout features of the M90a Pro Gen 6 is the Lenovo Focus Sound. This AI-driven directional sound system targets audio directly to the user's position, thus eliminating the need for headphones during virtual meetings. In addition, the system offers Human Presence Detection 2.0, which enhances data protection by automatically locking the screen when the user steps away.

The device has various features designed to enhance user comfort and durability, including a full-function ergonomic stand, low blue light technology certification, and IP55 water and dust resistance. Other features include Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, multiple 4K monitor support, and a camera with AI-powered noise suppression.

Furthermore, Lenovo offers Premier Support Plus and CO2 Offset Services with the M90a Pro Gen 6. These services provide premium support and allow users to offset the estimated carbon emissions associated with the device's lifecycle by purchasing credits for climate action projects verified by independent organisations such as the United Nations and Gold Standard.

On the other hand, the ThinkCentre neo 50q QC is a compact desktop model housed in a 1-litre chassis. It integrates AI-driven technology powered by Snapdragon X or Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processors, supporting efficient multitasking and data handling for small and medium-sized business users who require robust performance in a minimalistic design.

The neo 50q QC offers connectivity options, including multiple USB ports, HDMI, and DisplayPort, for easy connection to peripherals and dual displays. Furthermore, the desktop utilises environmentally friendly materials, with 60% recycled plastic in the thermal shell and 30% Ocean Bound Plastic in the system bag and thermal shell.

Lenovo has also launched the ThinkCentre Neo Ultra Gen 2, which features Intel's Core Ultra processors and Thunderbolt ports and is touted for its enhanced performance in a compact design.

Johnson Jia, Senior Vice President of the Global Innovation Centre at Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group, commented, "Lenovo continues to lead the way in delivering powerful desktop and visual solutions tailored to the evolving needs of modern businesses. With innovations like the ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 and the ThinkCentre neo 50q QC, we're bringing advanced AI capabilities and compact designs to professional workflows, enhancing collaboration, productivity, and user experience in smarter, more connected workplaces."
