Cybersecurity firm, LogRhythm, has named Matthew Lowe as Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Country Manager, based in Sydney, effective from 31 October 2023. With more than 20 years of industry experience in sales, business development, and customer account management, Lowe is set to boost customer and revenue growth and develop relationships with the company's channel partners, thus accelerating the market momentum for its cloud-native SIEM platform.

Lowe's previous role was as Vice President for Australia and New Zealand at Ivanti, where he spent six years leading a team to grow the company's market share and business momentum. He has also held roles at BMC Software as ANZ Channel Sales Manager, at Numara Software as ANZ Channel Manager, and at FrontRange Solutions as Asia Pacific and Japan Regional Manager. Earlier positions include ANZ General Manager for Banksia Software and Business Development Manager at NetComm.

Jerry Tng, Vice President, APJ, LogRhythm, believes that Lowe's regional sales expertise will be invaluable to the company, stating, "Matthew brings a wealth of regional sales expertise to LogRhythm having helped several innovative industry leaders build their brands into dominant forces. His leadership, experience, and knowledge will help support our customers and channel partners as we further accelerate growth and continue to meet the evolving cybersecurity needs of Australian and New Zealand enterprises as they continue their digital transformation journeys."

With a new instance in Australia, LogRhythm will be able to provide a flexible solution to strengthen security operations and ensure comprehensive protection. LogRhythm's partner of the year in Australia, Seamless Intelligence, will provide a managed services layer for LogRhythm Axon customers.

Speaking about his new role and the company's prospects, Matthew Lowe states, "LogRhythm's APAC team is focused on innovation and customer success which in turn constantly reinforces and expands our leadership in the cybersecurity industry. It's an exciting time to take on this new role, building on a great foundation and further accelerating momentum with the recent announcement of our new cloud-native SIEM platform, LogRhythm Axon. We are well positioned to grow our market share and expand our partner ecosystem as LogRhythm continues to elevate its position within end user customer teams implementing comprehensive cybersecurity postures while at the same time also driving long-term, sustainable growth."
