NetSuite boosts AI partner growth with SuiteApp.AI Marketplace

Tue, 7th Oct 2025

NetSuite has announced enhancements to its SuiteCloud Developer Network partner programme to assist partners in building AI-powered business applications and accelerating growth.

The company stated that the updates will provide partners with expanded tools and resources, supporting the faster introduction of secure and high-performing AI solutions for NetSuite's customers. Among the changes is the launch of the SuiteApp.AI Marketplace, which will allow partners to promote and distribute their AI-driven innovations to the more than 43,000 organisations using NetSuite worldwide.

Programmeme enhancements

The SuiteCloud Developer Network is designed for independent software vendors developing on the NetSuite SuiteCloud platform. The latest update aims to simplify the process for partners to create, market, and deliver AI applications. Specific enhancements include the introduction of new AI-focused SuiteApp badges and expanded development resources.

Scott Derksen, Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development for Oracle NetSuite, emphasised the significance of partners in enabling customers to make full use of AI tools. He said:

"NetSuite partners will play an essential role in helping our customers adopt trusted AI solutions that drive immediate business value. The latest updates to the SuiteCloud Developer Network will help our partners expand their opportunities for growth by providing them with the tools and resources to bring secure, high-performing AI solutions to market faster. For example, through the SuiteApp.AI Marketplace, partners can drive faster adoption of their latest AI innovations across NetSuite's 43,000+ customers."

The SuiteApp.AI Marketplace will provide a specific channel for partners to showcase their AI-powered applications, while newly created SuiteApp badges are intended to enable partners to demonstrate that their solutions conform to requirements for privacy, security, performance, and design. Two new AI-specific badges have been introduced. The 'SuiteCloud Developer Network AI Elite' badge is for partner applications delivering all AI functionalities through large language models (LLMs) hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, providing greater data security and control. The 'SuiteCloud Developer Network AI' badge designates applications using SuiteCloud Platform APIs and/or third-party LLMs.

In addition, new AI development resources have been made available. These provide engineering support and tools to help partners integrate and manage third-party LLMs within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, making these accessible via the SuiteCloud Developer Network portal. According to NetSuite, this will support seamless integration and governance of data and AI capabilities under Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Partner solutions

A number of partners are already developing AI-powered SuiteApps to support NetSuite customers optimise operations and achieve business outcomes. Avalara has built an AI solution securely on OCI, integrating its tax and compliance agent, Avi, within NetSuite. This solution has earned the AI Elite badge and is designed to automate compliance tasks and provide real-time calculation analysis for customers.

Other partner-developed solutions include Contivio's CloudConnect, which uses AI transcription and bots to enhance voice, chat, and SMS interactions between customers, internal teams, and NetSuite; Legion's embedded AI agents offering instant answers and enterprise visibility to finance teams; Gatekeeper's AI ExtractTM for extracting metadata and contractual language from enterprise contracts; and Cauzzy's AI tools for workflow automation, including expense anomaly detection and sales order analysis.

Jayme Fishman, Chief Strategy and Product Officer at Avalara, commented on the collaboration with NetSuite:

"Avalara is proud to be among the early supporters of NetSuite's AI initiatives, including the new SuiteApp.AI Marketplace and AI Elite partner badge program. We see tremendous potential in bringing together AI-powered innovations with NetSuite's ecosystem to deliver greater value for our shared customers. As an early adopter, Avalara is excited to collaborate closely with NetSuite and showcase how AI can transform efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across tax and compliance."

NetSuite's stated enhancements to its SuiteCloud Developer Network are aimed at assisting partners in delivering products that adhere to requirements for security, data privacy, and performance while streamlining the development and go-to-market process for AI applications. These changes also open new revenue opportunities for partners by creating specific channels and tools to tap into NetSuite's existing customer base with vetted AI solutions.
