Pax8 appoints Eric Stevens as new Chief AI Officer
Pax8 has announced the appointment of Eric Stevens as its new Chief AI Officer. This newly created role will see Stevens responsible for overseeing the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, infrastructure, and practices within the company.
Stevens will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Scott Chasin, who took over the leadership of Pax8 earlier this year. His new remit includes heading a dedicated AI team in addition to the Data Analytics, Engineering, and Science teams. Together, these groups are tasked with driving innovation and transforming Pax8's Marketplace to offer improved value, efficiency, and intelligence to its partners.
Commenting on the appointment, Stevens remarked, "AI is about to completely revolutionise the world, and the vision for an AI-empowered Marketplace cannot be underestimated. Undertaking the role of Chief AI Officer of Pax8 is an incredible opportunity and exciting challenge that I'm eager to embark on."
His leadership will also focus on ensuring that Pax8 navigates the evolving landscape of industry best practices and government regulations concerning AI. Stevens and his team will establish policies on the responsible and ethical use of AI and oversee corporate strategy for all AI initiatives.
Chasin expressed his enthusiasm about Stevens' new role, stating, "I'm thrilled to share the news that Eric Stevens has been promoted to the pivotal role of Chief AI Officer. Continuing to invest in our AI capabilities represents the strategic nature and impact that it has on Pax8, our Partners, and the industry. I'm delighted to see Eric take on this crucial role that will significantly transform how the Marketplace delivers value to our ecosystem."
