PMT Communications celebrates achievements in 2024

Today

PMT Communications has reported a successful year in 2024 for its telecommunications services, achieving new milestones and growth in team development and technology adoption.

The telco division of PMT Security, PMT Communications marked significant achievements in expanding its services across the commercial, government, and retail sectors. As businesses continue to adapt in the post-pandemic era, PMT Communications has shown resilience by completing several critical projects.

A key accomplishment for PMT Communications was the installation of the Nextivity Quatra 4000e, a hybrid Distributed Antenna System approved in Australia in December 2023. This system caters to small-to-medium buildings, offering cost-effective mobile signal distribution. The company successfully implemented this solution for a major healthcare provider in Victoria, enhancing its presence in the healthcare sector.

In a separate project, the company utilised Cambium Point-to-Point (PTP) solutions, providing wireless communication between two industrial buildings located 800 metres apart. Completing the project ahead of schedule, PMT Communications highlighted its technical proficiency and dedication to meeting client needs.

Further cementing its expertise, PMT Communications carried out various installations of Distributed Antenna Systems, both passive (using coaxial cables) and active (with electronic remotes).

These systems are vital for strong mobile signal distribution in large facilities. A significant success was a Passive Carrier DAS project completed for a healthcare development in Queensland, reinforcing PMT Communications' reputation in handling complex infrastructure projects.

The company attributes its success in 2024 to its skilled in-house installation team, whose professionalism has been crucial in executing these projects. Drawing upon the four decades of security experience from its parent group, PMT Security, the company is prepared to handle large-scale installations as demand grows and technologies advance.

Reflecting on the year's progress, Niyi Adedoja, PMT's Solutions Development Manager for Communications, said, "We're very proud of what we've achieved for our customers. Our RF Engineers and our field teams have delivered exceptionally high standards in design and execution. Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, closing out the year on a real high. PMT Communications have some exciting things in the works so we're all looking forward to the year ahead."

As PMT Communications continues to advance in mobile and wireless solutions, the company remains a dependable partner for organisations in need of mobile remediation or Distributed Antenna Systems expertise. Its ability to foster strong client relationships positions it well for future challenges and opportunities.
