Publicis Sapient green-lights PS Hummingbird to boost AI capabilities
Wed, 6th Dec 2023

Publicis Sapient, a digital business transformation firm, has today proclaimed the inception of PS Hummingbird. This new joint venture with Tquila aims to enhance its AI and cloud-based capabilities by leveraging Microsoft's technology. This initiative follows the company's recent acquisitions of Practia, Corra, and Publicis Sapient AI Labs, all aimed at strengthening the firm’s core AI capabilities.

PS Hummingbird offers a complete range of services encompassing strategy and planning, user experience and process design, data analysis, implementation, testing, and training. Furthermore, it offers continuous support while unlocking tailored AI-powered solutions across major business functions. By integrating business process data into Microsoft Fabric, PS Hummingbird intends to assist organisations in preparing their enterprise data for generative AI, thus creating bespoke solutions that drive operational efficiencies.

Nigel Vaz, CEO of Publicis Sapient, expressed his excitement about PS Hummingbird's launch, stating, "This joint venture combines our AI expertise with Tquila's capabilities to bring increased value to our clients." He visions harnessing the transformative potential of generative AI through Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, reinforcing Publicis Sapient's position as a reliable partner to clients on their digital business transformation journey.

The announcement comes as the Microsoft Dynamics 365 market is estimated to grow by 45% till 2025 and rake in roughly $100 billion in consulting services. In this expanding field, PS Hummingbird aims to remedy the shortage of technical expertise and provide quality services directly to its clients while bolstering Publicis Sapient's existing customer portfolio.

The Chairman of Tquila, James McHugh, expressed his enthusiasm for this next venture with Publicis Sapient, which he describes as the most ambitious yet. He said, "The Tquila team is committed to working with all stakeholders to attract and develop the best talent in the market so, together, we build a market-leading, best-in-class generative AI business."

Kelly Rogan, CVP, Global System Integrators and Advisory Partners at Microsoft, shares the excitement over the increased customer demand for AI-powered services, adding that "Publicis Sapient's increased Microsoft Cloud and AI capabilities will empower customers and enhance our alliance."

Publicis Sapient has been recognised as a Market Leader in HFS Research’s Horizons Report for Generative Enterprise Services 2023 for their innovative application of generative AI in digitally transforming businesses for enhanced growth. Through this venture with Tquila, they reaffirm their commitment to innovation and expansion in the AI and cloud services segments.
