Reolink has launched its OMVI Series of triple-lens security cameras in Australia, led by the OMVI 3i PoE, which is now on sale.

The launch also includes a separate Power-Efficient Series of WiFi cameras and doorbells. According to Reolink, these devices use Qualcomm micro-power WiFi to extend battery life.

The OMVI range centres on cameras that combine an upper panoramic lens system with a lower pan-tilt lens. The setup is designed to provide 360° coverage, track movement across a scene, and maintain a wider view.

Two OMVI 3i models make up the first part of the Australian release. The OMVI 3i PoE and OMVI 3i WiFi each use an 18MP triple-lens system that combines a 10MP dual-lens panoramic camera with an 8MP pan-tilt lens.

The cameras use SyncTrack, which allows the pan-tilt lens to follow moving objects detected by the panoramic lens. Auto-Framing is designed to zoom in on the object, centre it, and keep it in view until it leaves the scene.

Users can view both the panoramic feed and the close-up tracking footage in the Reolink app or on desktop software. The OMVI series also includes local AI video search and on-device detection intended to reduce false alerts.

The OMVI line supports local storage through microSD cards up to 512GB and Reolink network video recorders. These functions do not require a subscription or monthly fees.

The OMVI X16 PoE sits at the top of the range, although it will arrive later than the first OMVI model now available in Australia. It uses a 24MP triple-lens system made up of a 16MP dual-lens panoramic camera and a 4K 8MP pan-tilt lens with 16x optical zoom.

That model is aimed at larger sites or higher-security settings. It supports 360° horizontal panning and 95° vertical rotation, and has been recognised as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree and an iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 winner.

Battery focus

Alongside the OMVI launch, Reolink introduced a separate group of battery-focused WiFi products for home use: the Argus MagiCam, the Video Doorbell (2nd Gen), the Video Doorbell SE, and the E1 Swift indoor pan-tilt camera.

The series uses Qualcomm QCC730 Micro-Power Wi-Fi and offers up to 96% longer battery life than the industry standard, according to Reolink. The products are positioned around easier installation and lower energy use.

The Argus MagiCam is available now. It is a wire-free 2MP cube-style camera with magnetic mounting, designed for portability, and can run for up to nine months on battery. On-device human detection is included.

The Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) is due later in the third quarter and offers a 4MP head-to-toe 1:1 view. It supports on-device detection for people, vehicles, animals, and packages, and can run either on a rechargeable battery or through an existing wired doorbell connection.

Battery life for that model can reach up to 10 months. A wired setup can support continuous recording.

Also planned for the third quarter are the Video Doorbell SE and the E1 Swift. The Doorbell SE is a 3MP WiFi doorbell with a 4:3 aspect ratio view, while the E1 Swift is an indoor pan-tilt model aimed at monitoring pets, babies, and children.

Pricing and timing

The OMVI 3i PoE is priced at AUD $429.99 in Australia, while the OMVI 3i WiFi is priced at AUD $439.99.

The Argus MagiCam is priced at AUD $99.99. The OMVI X16 PoE, Video Doorbell (2nd Gen), Video Doorbell SE, and E1 Swift will follow later.

Reolink sells smart security products for home and business users and says it serves millions of customers globally. The Australian launch expands its local range with both wired multi-lens cameras and battery-based devices for home monitoring.
