Thu, 10th Aug 2023

Salesforce has announced Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud are scheduled to become available on Hyperforce, the trusted platform architecture, in Australia in January 2024.

Announced at the World Tour Essentials Melbourne, Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud will provide more options for customers, including those in highly regulated industries, to grow globally and serve customers locally.

"Customer trust is paramount. With increased emphasis on data security and storage, local data residency is imperative to help keep up to date with evolving privacy regulations," the company says.

"This launch creates more options for customers, including those in highly regulated industries, to grow globally and serve customers locally."

Innovation in action
Hyperforce leverages the scale and agility of the public cloud to help support the success of Salesforce's global customer base. With this release, customers in Australia are enabled to connect all their data and, with the power of generative AI through Einstein GPT, activate it to deliver more relevant customer experiences in real time and at scale.

Data Cloud empowers customers to scale insights with AI, unify all customer data into a single profile, and power unparalleled customer success. Marketing Cloud helps marketers build relationships with their customers by delivering AI-powered personalised campaigns to increase customer lifetime value and loyalty.

Key features of Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud on Hyperforce include:

  • Store data in-country. In-country data storage options to help keep up with evolving industry and regional regulations.
  • Protect your data, everywhere. Zero Trust framework, enhanced controls, and end-to-end encryption helps secure your data.
  • Handle ever-growing workloads with ease. Grow your business on flexible infrastructure designed to scale with you.
  • Upgrade with confidence. With backward compatibility, maintain custom apps and integrations you've built on Salesforce.

"We know for many customers, local data storage is a game-changer for their IT and marketing teams working in data-rich environments," Frank Fillmann, Country Leader, Salesforce Australia says.

"We have listened to our customers, and are proud that were able to deliver Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud on Hyperforce for Australia," he says.

"Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud on Hyperforce means our Australian customers will be able to accelerate their data and marketing strategies and scale their programs with unparalleled efficiency."

Salesforce also recently announced Einstein Studio a new, easy-to-use bring your own model (BYOM) that will allow companies to leverage their proprietary, real-time customer data from Data Cloud to train AI models that solve specific business needs.
