Samsung launches 2026 TVs & audio range in Australia

Thu, 23rd Apr 2026 (Today)

Samsung Australia has launched its 2026 television and home audio range in Australia, extending AI features across its 4K-and-above TVs.

The line-up includes Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, UHD and Lifestyle models, alongside new Wi-Fi speakers, updated Q-Series soundbars and refreshed Sound Tower products. The 2026 portfolio includes 50% more Glare-Free TVs, 50% more Art TV options and 50% more ultra-large displays than the 2025 range.

Samsung is also expanding its Vision AI Companion system across the TV range, making it available on 2026 sets and select 2025 models. Built around Bixby, the feature also draws on services including Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot to answer on-screen queries and support content discovery.

Simon Howe, Director - Visual Display, Samsung Australia, said the company was responding to changes in how people use televisions at home. "At Samsung, we're seeing more and more Australians multitasking while they watch TV. In fact, our insights show about half of viewers are picking up another device at the same time, whether that's to look up an actor or figure out where a scene was filmed. It's easy to lose track of the story in those moments, and that can be frustrating. With Vision AI Companion, Australians can get answers to those questions right on the screen, without interrupting what they're watching," Howe said.

Samsung is using the 2026 range to expand premium display formats across more screen sizes. Its new Micro RGB category will be sold in two series, the R95H and R85H, with screen sizes from 55 inches to 115 inches. The sets use individually controlled red, green and blue micro-sized LEDs and are aimed at buyers seeking larger screens and brighter-room viewing.

Howe said the Micro RGB launch marked a new step for the company. "We are proud to continually redefine display innovation and have brought the world's first series of Micro RGB TVs as a new chapter in immersive home cinema experiences. Micro RGB is designed to bring Australians closer to the content they are passionate about through exceptional lifelike colour - from movies, to sport, gaming and art.

"On a big screen, every detail is elevated, and with Samsung's Glare-Free technology, Australians can enjoy distraction-free content in any viewing environment. By combining advanced RGB control with Vision AI Companion, we're delivering a viewing experience that feels more natural, more engaging and tailored to the way Australians watch and connect at home," Howe said.

Broader TV push

In OLED, Samsung has introduced the S95H, S90H and S85H. Glare-Free technology, previously limited to its top OLED set, now extends to the S95H and S90H. Samsung is also adding Art Store access to OLED as part of a broader push to combine premium TV and wall art functions across more of the portfolio.

The Frame range remains central to that strategy. The Frame Pro will use Neo QLED picture technology and Wireless One Connect, while The Frame will continue with QLED. A built-in installation model will also be available for buyers seeking a more integrated setup.

The expansion of Art TV options goes beyond hardware. Samsung's Art Store now offers more than 5,000 curated works and is being extended to more categories, including Micro RGB, select OLED, Neo QLED and Mini LED models.

Among the artists featured on the service is Sarrita King, an Aboriginal artist and Gurindji-Waanyi woman. "Being able to bring contemporary Aboriginal art and share my story into homes around the world thanks to Samsung has been a career highlight and something I'll always be proud of. The technology displays my artworks in their truest form, capturing the energy and movement of my 'Lightning' series with integrity and depth," King said.

Mid-market models

Outside the premium tiers, Samsung is adding 10 Mini LED models in 2026. The M70H series will be sold in sizes from 43 inches to 85 inches. These models bring AI-based picture and sound functions, as well as faster refresh rates on larger screen sizes, to a lower price band than Neo QLED sets.

Neo QLED remains a major part of the line-up, with the QN80H offered in sizes from 50 inches to 100 inches. Select models support gaming up to 144Hz, while the wider range adds 4K upscaling and AI-based picture and sound adjustments.

Audio range

Alongside televisions, Samsung has expanded its standalone audio products with Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 wireless speakers. The larger Music Studio 7 is a 3.1.1-channel device, while Music Studio 5 is aimed at buyers seeking a smaller speaker for wireless music streaming.

Samsung is also extending features that connect televisions and audio devices, including support for linking multiple compatible sound products with Samsung TVs.

Select Mini LED, Neo QLED and Crystal UHD models are gaining Google Cast support, while eligible 2026 TVs will get Google Photos memories. Samsung is also continuing to build out Samsung TV Plus, its ad-supported streaming service, which now reaches more than 100 million monthly active users globally.

The 2026 range is now on sale in Australia through Samsung and retail channels, with pricing left to dealers.
