Seagate appoints Futoshi Niizuma as Asia-Pacific VP

Seagate Technology has announced the appointment of Futoshi Niizuma as vice president for Asia-Pacific and Japan sales. In his new role, Niizuma will oversee Seagate's sales and technical support activities across the region.

BanSeng Teh, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Seagate, expressed enthusiasm for Niizuma's new position. "We are excited to have Niizuma take on his new expanded role," said Teh. "Niizuma's exceptional experience in working with business partners as well as his leadership will empower and support the customers we serve in this region."

Niizuma has been with Seagate since October 2009 and has held various senior roles across Japan, South Asia, ASEAN, Australia, and New Zealand. In his most recent role, Niizuma led the Japan sales team to strengthen market presence, build ecosystem partnerships, and deliver significant value to customers.

Before joining Seagate, Niizuma held senior sales, marketing, and management positions at Kenwood Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices.
