Sinch recognised as essential app in HubSpot ecosystem

Mon, 14th Apr 2025

Sinch has been recognised as an Essential App for HubSpot, highlighting their success in bringing their conversations inbox to business messaging.

Sinch, a provider of digital customer communication solutions, has enhanced its strategic partnership with HubSpot by becoming a launch partner for HubSpot's new Custom Channels API. This integration enables businesses to integrate Sinch's communication channels, including RCS, SMS, and MMS, directly into the HubSpot Conversations Inbox. This development aims to provide businesses with a unified platform to manage all communication channels efficiently.

Chris Thompson, VP, Ecosystems at Sinch, noted the collaborative efforts between the two companies, saying, "It's a testament to our focus on bringing the best communications tools to businesses using HubSpot. Our product and partner teams have worked closely with HubSpot to create an inbox environment that meets the needs of today's businesses. The partnership we have with HubSpot has led to opportunities like this, and we're proud to play a key role in shaping the future of customer engagement."

The integration is designed to simplify the management of customer communications, enabling businesses to track, manage, and respond to text messages within HubSpot's Conversations Inbox. This not only streamlines the communication process but also enhances the ability of teams to work together effectively, encouraging a more coordinated and responsive approach to customer service.

"By supporting this integration, we're helping businesses keep track of their communications for even better customer engagement," Thompson added, underlining the goal to deliver high-quality messaging experiences and strengthen the partnership with HubSpot.

Sinch considers this recognition as a reflection of its enduring relationship with HubSpot, which is founded on mutual values of customer-centred innovation and reliable collaboration. The company prides itself on helping businesses connect with their customers directly from trusted platforms like HubSpot.

Being acknowledged as an Essential App underscores Sinch's expertise in mobile messaging and its contribution to enriching the HubSpot ecosystem. The company advocates for synchronized customer interactions, as fragmented communication can significantly impact the overall customer experience.

Robert Gerstmann, Sinch's Co-founder, explained the importance of cohesive interaction histories, "You need to understand your customer's complete conversation history. Knowing that a customer faced a specific issue two weeks ago provides crucial context for today's interaction." Gerstmann highlighted the need for consistent and context-aware customer engagements.

Chief Data & Transformation Officer at Sinch, Sibito Morley, commented on the role of data integration, "Instead of moving the data constantly, how about we find it and pull it together on demand or when we need to?" Morley's insights draw attention to the significance of connecting communication systems with customer data platforms (CDP) to enhance customer interactions.

Despite many Fortune 500 companies investing in CDPs, Morley stresses that integration is the key: "The winners in 2025 won't necessarily have the most data. They'll just know how to use what they have. Every customer interaction should build on the last one, not start over from zero, and AI should make each interaction smarter than the last."
